The panoramic pitches are great, we had an unobstructed view of Lake Constance and sometimes also of the Rhine. Everything was spotlessly clean and the whole site is very well maintained. The view is very beautiful, especially from the large, spacious panoramic pitches. If you want to do something, you should be mobile, at least a bicycle. The region is very nice to explore by bike. But it is also easy to reach on foot. It is helpful to know that there... is quite an incline at the end. The bistro and shop offer tasty snacks and a wide selection of drinks. There is also a pub next to the campsite.

I know, it sounds strange, but they were so well designed and made, and so clean. Better than most hotels!
Then there are the views. From many sites and the restaurant terrance you get to enjoy looking down at the lake, across to the hills, and around at the farms.
We also loved the options for non-tenting cyclists and the food/drink options on site. The pitches are very well maintained, as is the rest of the site. Most of them are permanent campers and there are relatively few pitches for tourists. We see this as a clear advantage, as there is always space in the spacious... infrastructure (plenty of toilets, showers, washing-up areas, etc.). It is very quiet at night. The playground, the swimming pool and the new sanitary facilities were particularly great.
There wasn't much excitement on the campsite during the day or in the evening as many of the pitches are fixed pitches and so everything is very informal.

The newly designed pitches at the front of the bistro with a fantastic view of the Untersee. The refreshing pool was of course very popular in this weather, simply great. The bistro fulfilled all our culinary wishes and was a cool change from camping life. The carefree, far-sighted location and the clear structures gave me the peace of mind I needed. There were also delicious... things to try in the bistro, where my personal kitchen took a break while I hosted other guests. We spent a few wonderful days at the Huettenberg campsite with several family friends and our small children. We were all delighted with the site - it is beautifully situated on a slope with a fantastic view, is very well maintained and well equipped....
For us as families with small children, the stay was thoroughly enjoyable. The highlights for our children were the playground, the two ground trampolines and the many safe paths to run around and explore. The pool was also a welcome refreshment on the warm days. In the evenings we sat around the fire pits together - a real experience for young and old!
We were particularly impressed by the very clean and modern sanitary facilities - that really makes a big difference with small children. The good infrastructure with the small store on site and the quiet, relaxed atmosphere also contributed to the fact that we all felt really at home.
If you are looking for a relaxed camping vacation close to nature with children, this is the place for you.
