Despite what the photos suggest, the swimming pool shown actually belongs to the municipality, not the camping itself. There is no pool on the premises. Additionally, there is no heating system, so the water is very cold and the rooms are quite small. If you don’t have experience with mountain environments, staying here could be risky. The village itself doesn’t offer much to see or do — it feels like a waste of both time and money. For clarification, the pool mentioned on our page is indeed the municipal pool, but it is adjacent to the holiday village and remains accessible to our guests free of charge during the summer season. In addition, on Mondays it is reserved... for Camboussel guests (we did not see you there, however).
As for the environment, we are located in the heart of nature, not in a city, in a pretty little village with lots of small shops. Even towns with more than 5,000 inhabitants envy us. The rating of 1 out of 10 is not justified because you did not accept that we did not give you a refund as you cut your stay short.
We hope you find a place that better suits your needs for your next vacation. Regarding the gite, we assigned you the gite category you booked online. When you arrived you complained because you thought you had... booked another category. We offered you a FREE upgrade which you refused out of pride.
What's more, you didn't tell us about the wasp's nest, which we couldn't have guessed otherwise we would have come to remove it.
