"Paris very close - Contrary to our usual practice, we once again reserved a place online and then paid for it straight away. You then have to pay the tourist tax at check-in. This meant that the night for a camper van including 2 people cost over 40 euros. The price is justified by the proximity to Paris, but is too high for the pitch and the sanitary facilities in particular. There are not enough toilets and showers at peak times for the number of pitches. Otherwise, the site also offers opportunities to spend time here. In the immediate vicinity there is an area where you can swim in the Marne at certain times, you can play volleyball, the kids have a playground, there is a small garden with various plants and a chicken coop. Public transport to Paris is about 15 minutes by bus or 40 minutes directly to the metro. We bought the day ticket online, but it didn't work with all our cell phones. However, the turnstiles were unlocked for us by the staff after they saw that the error was not ours. And you can do Paris at the time of the national holiday, you can also postpone it ;-). And remember, camper van drivers greet each other.

"best location, simple place - Obviously a new operator who is trying very hard. Nice place, a bit overgrown but they are working on it. Sanitary not the hit (hole in the ground). But a safe place 15 min from the next RER station. Due to the proximity to Paris, Zone3 tickets are sufficient. If we are in the area again we will come back to this site.

"Poorly run campground with toilet facilities bordering on decency. - The campsite is quite convenient for visits to Paris. 30 min walk along the Marne or by free tourist train (10 min) to the RER. Then 25 min to the center of Paris. The pitches are simple. There is no entertainment or activities.

" - We spent 5 days at the campsite, which we chose mainly because of its proximity to Paris. It's about 20 minutes by car to the Gallieni metro station, where you can park relatively cheaply (4-5 EUR per day) in the large parking garages and take the metro into the city. There is even a cycle path from the campsite to Paris, as another camper happily told me, and you can also set off for Paris from the nearby train station. The campsite is located at a lock with a marina (boat harbor) and in the middle of the town of Neuilly-sur-Marne. On the one hand, this is practical for running errands quickly, but on the other hand it is inconvenient, as visitors to the port go to the toilet at the campsite, for example. The reception speaks only French and unfortunately pays no attention to tidiness or foreign visitors. We were victims of thieves on the penultimate day of our stay and at least 2 other campers with us! I blame the inadequate control of the reception for this. The sanitary facilities were very run-down. One house only had standing toilets, in the other you could at least sit down, but there were no seats. The showers and washbasins were also a bit run down, but were still quite acceptable. We paid 24 EUR/night for 2 people and electricity.

" - Very basic standard, but 15 min walk to the RER. Sanitary facilities partly out of order and strange people on the site... Otherwise suitable for an overnight stay. The Seine-Marne canal flows directly past the site (the campsite is practically on a peninsula) and so ships pass by from time to time, but nothing dramatic. Overall, the site gets an "okay".
