A very nice place to stop through
We were there in September.
We can confirm the most recent reviews.
A small, lovely spot with a food truck serving good pizza and so on. A solid 5/5.

I wouldn’t describe the access road as an adventure. It’s a short, narrow road that goes downhill over two bridges. Oncoming traffic isn’t a problem,... since there are passing places.

The sheer audacity has nothing to do with the campground or the review.

Please be careful...
If you follow Google Maps, the residential area about 1.5 km before the entrance has very low-speed traffic restrictions, which makes the approach difficult. One of the speed bumps is a complete design flaw—it’s built very high and is only about 2 m long. This speed bump fits between the rear axle of the tow vehicle and the axle of the trailer. When driving over it, the raised front wheel of the trailer (ours has 20 cm of ground clearance) touches down.
If necessary, remove the front wheel.

Close to the highway, yet in a very quiet location. Public transportation to Orleans. Very clean. Great staff
Negatívumok
Nothing, really. As the icing on the cake, maybe a swimming pool could be built... That would be nice!
A nice, small campground
The campground is well-located as a stopover near the highways and the city of Orléans. It’s small and easy to navigate. Electricity and water are available at each site. Public transportation to Orléans via tram and bus offers good connections. A larger supermarket is a few kilometers away. There’s... a small snack bar and a food truck on site. You can also order from delivery services through the front desk.
The restroom facilities are spacious and clean. They’re even wiped down again in the evening.
The staff is constantly on the move to ensure guests’ comfort. You can really tell they’re professional and passionate about the campground and its guests.

Nice, cozy place
A nice place to visit Orléans.
There are shady spots, you should book in high season otherwise you could be out of luck.
When we were there, there was a food truck on site that offered very tasty pizza, at the reception you could buy a glass of beer, wine or other drinks at reasonable prices, Neban tables and chairs, inviting.
Sanitary perfectly in order. We liked it very much.

On the bicycke path you will get to Orleans in no time. At camp: I enjoy the silence here, away from busy hours you will hear nothing but birds, the occasional train or maybe a helicopter. The campsite is very well maintained and clean, the owners put a lot of heart and work into this spot.

There are none for me.
Great spot for tent camping
My bicycke tour took me to quite a few campsites this year.
Out of these only two campings really stood out - and this is one of them.

Thank you Orleans Camp for making my stay so nice :-))

All the best

The location. Orleans can be reached by bike.
Negatívumok
The pitches are relatively small and not easy to park due to the trees. Very nice sanitary facilities. Above average for France.
Good place for a visit to Orleans
It's important not to be put off by the access road. This is very adventurous, but as it only goes to the campsite, it's ok.

Beautiful place near Orleans
Very pleasant place with nice pitches by the river/stream.
In the evening you can sit nicely on the terrace with a drink. It doesn't seem overcrowded, even when it's full. In the high season it is advisable to book in advance (3 days in advance was enough for us).
The atmosphere is very informal and the owners are very accommodating and friendly.

Everything, space designed with attention to detail, sanitary facilities like in a hotel. Quick (20-30 min.) by bike to Orleans.

Great clean CP with very friendly staff
A friendly welcome from the site manager, then allocation of a spacious pitch. Sanitary facilities like in a hotel, everything very well maintained due to Corona measures with sufficient spacing at the washbasins and urinals. A pizza van comes once a week, you can order and pick up your fresh, delicious... pizza 20 minutes later. The bike ride to Orleans (approx. 5.5 km) is easy and takes between 20 and 30 minutes. Orleans is a beautiful city with a great cathedral and cozy cafes to linger. We will definitely be back.

Wonderful days on a cozy campsite with wonderful hosts
After our beach vacation, we stayed a few nights as a family in Olivet with our two small tents and visited Paris, Orleon and the castles of the Loire from there. It was a wonderful time on a cozy campsite with lots of friendly people. We really enjoyed our breakfast and the evenings on the terrace.... But above all the wonderful hosts; from the moment we were greeted we felt at home, thank you very much for the wonderful days - we will certainly be back.

Beautifully maintained facility with many lovely details, music in the washrooms, fresh baked goods in the morning but only from 8 am

Quickly fully booked, access for experienced trailer drivers - very narrow in places. Somewhat expensive in relation. You have to unhitch.
Very nice but small place
I visited the site this year because of all the praise. It's small and very family-run. Endless lovely details such as a small vegetable patch, beautiful decoration. There is a small store on site with great wines and snacks - it's not a supermarket! When I arrived there was a pizza baker on site who... I just saw packing up... the place fills up very quickly and is a popular overnight stop on the Atlantic route. So make a reservation or arrive early. But be careful: don't be tempted by the shorter route through Orleans. It's not much fun. It's better to take the highway around Orleans and approach from the west.

Sanitary facilities!!!
Space great, sanitary facilities take some getting used to
The site is really pretty and quiet. The pitches vary in size and some are located on the Vach. There are many hedges separating the pitches. Unfortunately, the sanitary facilities are no longer up to date. No separation of the sexes and still too few toilets, showers and wash cubicles. The price does not match the sanitary facilities, only the pitch.

Everything okay, gladly again
Despite "Complete" we spontaneously got a pitch for one night. An ecologically super sustainable site with great owners. Showers are open 24 hours a day and there is also a small store with drinks and a terrace. Everything is well-kept and lovingly decorated.

Unisex sanitary facilities, toilets without toilet seats, without toilet paper, without soap
Beautifully laid out place with very friendly staff
Are on this site at the end of June 2018 as a stopover on the way to the Atlantic. The site is used a lot as a stopover. The welcome was extremely friendly. Reservation worked well. Pitch separated by hedges, very well maintained. Bread rolls, baguette service and small store available. Fresh express... coffee is also made. Small shock for me as a woman: the sanitary facilities! They were clean, but men and women were not separated. You have to bring your own toilet paper, there are small toilet seats and no soap. When we arrived on Saturday, there was a mobile pizza van and a small artists' flea market on site. The site is very quiet, but there is a lot of departing and arriving traffic. There is a very nice children's playground as well as a small bike and rowing boat rental. We would come back at any time.

no swimming pool
Nice CP for Orleans sightseeing
Quiet and beautifully located CP, very clean, toilet building almost new, but not separated into ladies and gentlemen. The reception was extremely friendly, they even spoke German. The pitches varied in size, with attention paid to the size of the caravans when allocating them. Some with water/waste... water connection. The streetcar is ideal for visiting Orleans (return ticket €3). Baguette service. Unfortunately there is no swimming pool on the site.

Beautifully situated, close to Orléans.
A good starting point
The reception was very friendly, perfect space for our bus, beautiful, very green grounds, clean sanitary facilities (although a little less chemicals would certainly have been enough), you have to bring your own TP. Perfect for a short bike tour to Orléans, the paths are well signposted and passable. Pitches partly with gravel, partly with grass, not always flat, but level.

Nice, lovingly maintained place
We chose this place to spend the night by chance. The location is idyllic, even if there is some traffic noise. However, this was never a nuisance. The site is very well maintained. Some pitches have fresh water and waste water connections. Due to the small size of only 46 pitches, you should definitely ask for a free pitch when you arrive.

Transit campground and narrow access road.
Transit campground
We visited this campground as a transit campground, for that it is fine ago. The campground is quietly located on a stream, in which there is little water in mid-July. Reservations are recommended at the beginning of the school vacations. Neat plumbing and choice pitches. During our visit there was a local pizza baker. Road to campsite is narrow and runs steeply downhill.

A bit remote as a starting point for visiting Orléans. Lots of mosquitoes due to the location by the water.
Nice place, if only it weren't for the mosquitoes!
The site is idyllically situated by a small river and the pitches are nicely shaded and well separated. New sanitary building.

well-kept complex beautiful, quiet location ideal for a trip to Orléans friendly staff clean, new sanitary facilities
Negatívumok
actually none, but you should make a reservation in the high season as word has gotten around about the beauty of the place
A small but beautiful spot on the Loiret
We visited this campsite for a stopover on our trip to the Atlantic coast. It is in a very idyllic location on the Loiret and there are cycle paths and hiking trails leading directly from the site. Well suited for walking the dog (bag dispenser available). The staff were extremely friendly and helpful,... a wine tasting was organized in the evening and a mobile pizza service was available for catering. Baked goods for breakfast and regional products are available at reception. The sanitary facilities appeared new and were very clean and well maintained. This site was almost too good for a stopover - you could definitely stay here longer. Update April 2014: as part of a trip to the Loire, we stayed at this beautiful campsite for two nights in April 2014. It is still small but beautiful and you should definitely pay a visit to the town of Orléans. The village of Olivet is also worth a visit, especially the idyllic banks of the Loiret river.

The small campsite is beautifully and quietly situated on the outskirts of Orleans. The site is mainly used as a transit site or for short-term campers visiting Orleans. The site is very well maintained, the sanitary building is modern and very clean even when fully occupied. Unfortunately, there is... no temperature control in the showers. The pitches are generously sized. The operators are very friendly and always ready to help. The small store stocks the bare essentials. Baguettes must be ordered the evening before. Highly recommended!!!
