Traffic: There are two roads surrounding the campground—the one leading to Clermont-Ferrand and the one leading to Murol. If you’re staying in a mobile home, it probably isn’t a problem, but if you’re in a tent, it is. Plus, the garbage trucks come by the campground entrance at 5 a.m. several times a week. The sound of the river might bother some people. I didn’t think the pool water was very clean. The restroom facilities are closed from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. If you’re camping in a tent, bring a nice, thick sleeping bag—temperatures drop to between 15 and 10 degrees at night, and the campground doesn’t lend out blankets. The 4-star rating is an exaggeration.

While on a business trip, I was welcomed by a very friendly staff. Great atmosphere, clean restrooms, and a spacious location near the river. The evenings are lively. I also thoroughly enjoyed the spa. I’ll definitely be back.

We found that the restrooms were a bit far from our campsite; they’re closed for two hours from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. for cleaning—fortunately, we can use the ones at the front desk; the pool is a bit small when the campground is full; there aren’t enough umbrellas and lounge chairs for everyone;

The hospitality was top-notch, and the building has a bar—and, very importantly, a freezer, which is great! The grounds were clean, and the campground is in a great location for some nice hikes. And let’s not forget—it’s a very beautiful, welcoming village.

The pool hours are too restrictive. The walkways are in poor condition and dusty. The mobile home is right across from the neighboring one.

Although I was staying in your bungalow, I noticed that there were quite a few spots for tents—something that’s becoming increasingly rare nationwide. Here’s a little bonus:

Now, let's move on to the minor drawbacks. 25 square meters. It's a bit cramped; you can really feel how tight the space is in the bedrooms. And as for the size of the TV—which you could easily mistake for a tablet—I don’t know if that’s the standard for getting a **** rating. I’ve stayed in much more spacious rentals before, even though they didn’t have your four stars.

Besse is worth exploring.

Wi-Fi is available only on the terrace in front of the front desk. Do not bring a drink onto the terrace to use the Wi-Fi, as this terrace is also part of the bar. So, while the Wi-Fi is technically free, you must either order a drink at the bar or stay without one during heat waves. Another option: stand in front of the front desk.

We enjoyed our short stay at the campground. Despite everything, we were able to enjoy the quality of the pizzas, fried chicken, and homemade ice cream. The kids had a great time at the pool and on the playground. The staff is very welcoming and responsive.
