View of Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast
Negatívumok
Small plots and unkempt
Beautiful view
The location on the Amalfi Coast is good for excursions. The site offers a beautiful view of Sorrento, great in the evening with the lights. The site itself is very noisy, located directly on a busy road. You are allocated a pitch and the road to it is very winding, narrow and steep. The pitches are... also quite unkempt and dusty. You also have hardly any privacy, more like a parking space. The paths "to the top" are quite long. It's hardly worth going to the "beach" because it's actually just a stone platform and not suitable for swimming. It could also be better maintained here. The sanitary facilities are good and clean. The place is good for a few days but not for a longer vacation. It is also quite expensive for what is on offer.

Great location for exploring the area Very good bus connections (even late at night) Partly great view over the bay of Sorrento
Negatívumok
Noisy surroundings small places difficult access to the sea difficult access with large vehicles
Nothing to relax about
The approach to the campsite is quite exciting, I was glad that our medium-sized trailer is not 2.50 wide. But everything is doable if you take it easy. It is important to follow the signs SS145 to Sorrento and then to Massa Lubrense, not the navigation system. In Sorrento Piano and Sorrento, the SS145... makes a detour around the town center.
The pitches with panoramic views are quite narrow, we could only just manage to extend the awning. But the view is magnificent.
In my opinion, the site is not suitable for a beach vacation, no decent beach and difficult access via many steps.
On the other hand, the whole area with the Amalfi Coast, Capri and the immediate surroundings of Sorrento can be explored very well from here thanks to good bus and boat connections. But then you want to keep going because you can hear the rattling Vespas and honking buses all the time.
There is a small store with all the essentials and a simple restaurant. The pizza marinara was delicious.
Communication in English was no problem, all the staff were very friendly.
Sanitary facilities were ok and clean.

Good place to explore the area
Good place to explore the area, but not recommended for a longer vacation (VERY noisy - road traffic). The place is nice, but could be much, much nicer if a little more care was put into it - just very careless in places. The staff were mostly friendly and helpful A shuttle service for 1 €/p. P to Sorrento... (which can only be reached on foot by the weary) is offered. The pitches are very small and we got an even smaller one, although there were enough others available - the motorhome (7 m) and just a small table and 2 chairs fitted in. However, as we only endured the hustle and bustle and road noise for 3 days, it was OK.

Great location and view, but otherwise?
Driving through Sorrento with a caravan is an absolute horror. Narrow streets, parking bays and crazy, life-weary cyclists. Caution: the satnav wanted to send us along the SS145, which has been turned into a pedestrian zone. The alternative route runs to the left (south) above this road. The infrastructure... on the site is modest. No hot water for shaving. Some of the pitches are very narrow. The paths on the site are steep. All facilities on the site only accept an internal prepaid card. This in turn can only be topped up with cash. The 4-star rating and the price derived from it are not justified. The view, at least on the slightly more expensive pitches with a sea view, is breathtaking. However, there is no discount on these pitches.

The drive through Sorrento is a real experience and requires strong nerves. But then you are right in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the Amalfi Coast with a great view and still find the necessary peace and quiet on the campsite.

Perfect location for exploring the Amalfi Coast
We were there in July, 2 people, motorhome, €38/night + €10/day extra for a pitch with a panoramic view. The drive through Sorrento is an experience in itself, you should already know your vehicle and have a little self-confidence ;) The same applies to the access to the pitches, but all in all it's... no problem even with mobile homes >7m! You will be allocated a pitch, but you are welcome to renegotiate in a friendly manner. If you want a panoramic pitch (recommended!), it's best to let us know straight away so that you don't have to "drive off" via the terraces. The sanitary facilities are getting on in years but are clean and are cleaned several times a day. The walk to the beach is really long and arduous, you only really do it once a day. The walk to the pool is shorter and well worth it! The campsite is the perfect place from which to explore the Amalfi Coast by scooter! You can hire a scooter at a good rate and it will even be brought to the campsite if you wish. The coastal road to Positanao and Amalfi is a great day trip, Sorrento itself is also worth a day's stroll and as a base for excursions to Capri, Naples and Pompei. Driving on the coastal road with a motorhome is prohibited during the day! For good reason, you should definitely not try it!

Amazing nature + high level of service = romantic vacation
We rested in the camping with my husband, we are 42 and 51 years old. First 3 days in Napoli & 4 days in Sorrento, in the best camping of my life! It's true. We are tourists with a long experience. It was unforgettable, to stay in olive grove, among laurel bushes, flowering oleanders, hanging over our... heads lemons and mandarins.... There are kind animals in the zoo :) Turquoise beach for snorkeling ... Magnificent panoramic views for photos overlooking Vesuvius and Sorrento ... We sincerely thank the team Santa Fortunata for the warm welcome!

Very good location for sightseeing around the Amalfi Coast to Naples, wonderful views of Sorrento from the panoramic seats
Negatívumok
Noisy due to nearby road, yapping dogs (not on the campsite), constant fireworks all around, steep path to the sea - cash only
Beautiful campsite in a perfect location for sightseeing
We arrived during the Whitsun vacations without a reservation and got a wonderful panoramic pitch, although it was quite cramped with a caravan and awning and cost an additional 10 euros per day. However, the view was magnificent. The site has very beautiful old olive trees, but this makes maneuvering... around the pitch quite difficult at times. The washing facilities are outdated but very clean. There is hot water in the showers. The number was completely sufficient. The steep path to the sea is completely unsuitable for older people. The swimming pool is clean and we always got free sun loungers (free of charge). The mini market has the essentials and bread rolls in the morning. The nearest supermarket is in Sorrento and is easy to reach by bus. The restaurant is ok. You can eat better, but also more expensively, in Sorrento. The campsite is great for excursions to the Amalfi Coast, Naples, Capri etc.. Everything is easy to reach by bus, train and ferry. The tours organized by the campsite also worked perfectly. However, you have to get used to the fact that you can only pay in the mini-market and restaurant with a card topped up at reception. Internet reception was usually good. We did not buy WLAN. Due to the location and the fact that everything we expect from a campsite was available, we (and our children) would come back at any time.

Cash only (vending machine on site), WLAN for a fee, dust and sand
Top location, but places dusty
We were there at the beginning of August 2017. The reception is quick and friendly. You are guided to your pitch. The allocated pitch can be negotiated. Roads sometimes very narrow. Pitches without grass or gravel. Everything very dusty and sandy. We did not use the pool. The path to the private "beach"... is a long walk down (and back up), not suitable for older people. Absolutely negative: only cash is accepted and WLAN costs extra. Nowadays an absolute absurdity! In the restaurant and market, only a card previously loaded with cash is accepted. There are only a few panoramic seats.

None for us personally. People who are not good on foot should be aware of the hillside location. Arrival and departure only for those with strong nerves.
Good place in a great location
Check in + out quick and uncomplicated. We were allocated a pitch, but after a friendly discussion we had a small choice of pitches. Our pitch, to the right below the restaurant, unfortunately had no view due to the tall trees, but was relatively quiet, but honking from the road could be heard during... the day. The best thing to do is to use a suitable powder to combat the ants as soon as you arrive. Sanitary facilities were cleaned several times a day, so always very clean. Showers are a bit small and not enough, but there is always hot water with good water pressure. The paths are sometimes very steep, which is normal on this slope. The beach, a steep descent and ascent with many steps, is a stone platform. Perfect for snorkeling, not suitable for small children (preferably in the pool). Sun loungers and parasols can be hired, ice cream, drinks, potato chips, etc. are available from the small kiosk. I wouldn't walk to Sorrento, but there are regular buses. The best way to get around here is by scooter. We can recommend the restaurant, the market has everything you need.

Chaotic outward and return journey through Sorrento
Ideal place to explore the Sorrento Peninsula
Anyone who has managed the traffic in the narrow streets of Sorrento with a trailer can take a deep breath when they reach the campsite. Fortunately, I always have a spare mirror with me. The scooter riders are everywhere and use every square decimetre of asphalt. The campsite is beautifully situated... and offers a great view of Vesuvius and the Gulf of Naples. Unfortunately, these pitches are not available at ACSI prices. The sanit. The sanitary facilities in the upper area are clean but in need of renovation. There is no hot water at the washbasins. There is an hourly shuttle from the site to the town. You also have the option of taking the public bus for €1.80. Tickets and tour bookings (e.g. Capri, Pompeii, Amalfi Coast, Vesuvius) at reception. Some of the friendly and nice ladies also speak German. The supermarket is expensive and only has the bare essentials. Panini is fresh every morning. The food in the restaurant was also fine. We had a lovely, varied two weeks at Santa Fortunata and can recommend the campsite with a clear conscience.
