To the old Piccardie
The site now operates under the name "Zur alten Piccardie" and is located directly next to a country inn.
We were here with friends over the weekend.
The site is still under construction.
Nevertheless, it has everything you need for a camper weekend.
The pitches are well paved and electricity is available... at every pitch.
The operators also have a country inn with good food. The chef and service spoil the guests.
Delicious food, good and friendly service.
We were here with friends for the "kale" theme weekend. (Certainly not for the last time).
The only annoying thing at night was a lone dog that was left unattended on the premises of a construction company (STRABAG) and barked extremely at times.
But it didn't disturb our sleep in the caravan.

The sanitary building is quite old, but has everything a man and woman need. However, a new building is to be erected here soon.

Disposal facilities are available.

-Friendly and cordial service -beautiful large and cozy pitches -great restaurant, you don't feel like cooking. -Beautiful cycle paths directly in front of the property.
Negatívumok
Shopping facilities are a little further away. But no problem by bike or car
Cozy campsite
Here you immediately feel welcome and at home.
The inn and the adjoining campsite are run with attention to detail.
The menu is characterized by the Dutch owners. The spare ribs in particular are a must.
But the ice cream menu also makes you want more.
The prices are moderate and definitely justified.
We like to come here again and again

a small campground, approx 20 places. Jan and Leentje Hoes are very hospitable. Spacious places under trees. Plumbing simple but clean. It is good to stay in the Gasthof at the campsite, both for a beer on the terrace, and for a meal. In the immediate vicinity is not much to do, but nearby is Lingen on the Ems, a nice town with a weekly market. Across the border in the Netherlands you are in no time in Ootmarsum or Schoonebeek.
