I used to go there all the time years ago; back then, I paid about €16 a night for everything, and it was absolutely hassle-free. Now (2026), I paid almost €40 for exactly the same thing, but the site hasn’t changed or improved at all. The restroom facilities at the wooden cabin are an absolute disgrace—and... certainly not worth this price hike.
Has the Mariazell municipality lost its mind??? The price is completely out of line with what you get!!!!

Almost directly at the lake, dogs allowed also at the lake. Nice place - At the lake there is food and breakfast

No hot water on the whole site, everything only with 50 cents.
Beautifully located place with a higher price level
Nice place with new pitches, bushes still very small. It was very quiet in the evening although the site was full. Great panorama and the lake is top. (incl. dog beach) The sanitary facilities are very old and there is no hot water. Everything only for 50 cents. Not okay for the pitch prices. We were also not informed on arrival. There is nothing to eat on site. Everything is available at the lake.

The already modest sanitary facilities were not extended during the expansion, no bread roll service, infrastructure far away. Only 1 (chargeable) hot water washing-up area. Prices not in line with the offer, far too high.

The already modest sanitary facilities were not extended during the expansion, no bread roll service, infrastructure far away. Only 1 (chargeable) hot water washing-up area. Prices not in line with the offer, far too high.
We used to go almost every year and found the offer and price OK, but this year was the last time, we left early; price-performance no longer matched.
