Our kids were never bored and always had something to do. The entertainment program was really impressive! From a giant foam party to a darts tournament, there was something for everyone!
The family bingo on our last evening was a wonderful way to wrap things up.
We felt very comfortable and will definitely be back next year!!!

It was our first time at the campground, and we were thrilled from the very first second. We checked in from our car.
We were able to go straight to our accommodations even though we arrived very early.

Capfun Family Time
We can wholeheartedly recommend this campground. We visited in early July as camping newbies—two adults and two children (age 8, age 12)—staying in a rented 4-person unit, and had a wonderful family vacation. The photos of the unit and the entire campground on the internet accurately reflected the actual... conditions on site. The unit, which had a terrace, was spacious enough; the kitchen was very well-equipped; and the beds were actually more comfortable than in some hotels. Regarding the kitchen amenities, I recommend reading the unit description carefully beforehand—for example, there’s no toaster or oven. Fortunately, we were well-informed. There was a daily entertainment program with different activities for the kids. There was even a separate room for older kids to hang out and chill—"the Box." We highly recommend the park’s own app, which keeps you well-informed about the daily schedule. But even without the entertainment, there was never a dull moment. In or by the lake, on the Aquatrack, on the big slides, or in the two swimming pools with great water temperatures, the pump track, or the multipurpose courts. You could also rent vehicles or equipment for the lake. We catered to ourselves, so we can’t say much about the quality of the food. We did notice, however, that the prices were on the high side. Supermarkets for self-catering are about a 10-minute drive away. We ordered drinks there in the evenings, but we’d recommend the restaurant over the beach bar in terms of quality. Unfortunately, some teenagers these days don’t seem to have been raised properly, so the on-site security team had to step in during the evenings. We were very grateful for that. It’s even worth taking a trip to explore the surrounding area—for example, a boat tour in the “Venice of the North” or a visit to an amusement park.
All-around fun for the kids, relaxation for the parents :)

There are a lot of young people there riding electric scooters or bikes really fast on the sidewalk—it can be a little dangerous if you're on vacation with small children. Other than that, everything was great.
It was a great getaway—everything was great; I can't complain.
It was—it was a wonderful time with my family, with my kids, who are eleven, eight, and one. It was a great time. Everyone had fun. It was super relaxing; I'd love to do it again.

I especially liked that the resort is very family-friendly. There are plenty of activities and recreational options for children, so they never get bored. The atmosphere is pleasant, and it really gives you that perfect vacation feeling. Overall, it’s a lovely place to relax and spend time with the family.

There weren't many downsides. The only downside was that our cabin wasn't centrally located. Because of that, we often had to walk long distances to get to the different areas of the resort.
Family-friendly
I can definitely recommend this campground. The entire grounds are very clean and well-maintained, so you feel right at home from the start. I especially liked that there are two swimming pools where you can cool off and relax on warm days.

There’s also a beautiful lake on the grounds where both kids... and adults can have a lot of fun. It’s a great place to spend time together, play, relax, or simply enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The lake is another great way to add variety to your vacation.

The campground also has a supermarket where you can get everything you need for daily life. The food on-site was very tasty, and we especially loved the ice cream.

A major highlight was the recreation and entertainment program. There were plenty of activities for children, but adults could also join their children in the games and activities. This made for a lot of fun and was a wonderful way to create shared memories.

The parties and evening events for both children and adults were also superbly organized and created a fantastic atmosphere. The wide variety of activities ensured that everyone felt comfortable and that boredom never set in.

Overall, we had a wonderful vacation experience there. The campground offers families plenty of opportunities to have fun, relax, and spend quality time together. I would visit this campground again anytime and highly recommend it, especially for families with children.

Super Capfun
Unfortunately, we were only there for a weekend—from Friday to Monday. But those days were just perfect for everyone. We’ve been to Capfun Parks many times, and every time it’s been a great vacation with our kids (ages 7, 13, and 15). This park was a highlight for us because of the lake. The weather... was great, and we would have loved to extend our vacation 😍
We were there with five kids. There’s something for every age group—even for the 15-year-olds. Tennis, table tennis, volleyball. The kids were busy and having fun until late in the evening.
And when the kids are happy, so are the parents. We go to Capfun every year because it’s so good for us as parents, too. And the service is always great. Unfortunately, our fridge was broken, but a staff member arrived within just 10 minutes, and another 10 minutes later we had a new one set up. Great service. Great entertainment. See you next time!!!

It's not a direct drawback, but if you want entertainment every day, you should plan your vacation during peak season. We only got to enjoy it on the weekend, but that was enough.
Our wonderful stay at the Capfun Vakantiepark het Stoetenslagh campground
We were really pleased with the very friendly, German-speaking staff at the front desk. It was extremely hot that day, but you couldn’t tell the team was bothered by it. We were also able to check into our accommodations right away, which were perfectly air-conditioned.
There are small playgrounds everywhere,... and plenty to explore. The small supermarket on the grounds has everything you need. The outdoor facilities are very well-maintained, and the staff are consistently friendly and helpful.

We’ll definitely be back.

Great value for the money—everyone had fun, and there were plenty of different activities at the campground. There were lots of different playgrounds, which my kids loved. Table tennis tables, basketball and soccer fields, a swimming lake, a pool, and an indoor pool. Everything was really nice and clean.

The rolls for breakfast cost €0.75 each. They would have been a little cheaper at a regular bakery.
Capfun Stoerenslagh
A very nice, clean campground with great slides. The kids’ area by the pool was fenced off, so the little ones couldn’t just wander off. Very friendly staff and unbeatable value for the price. We’ll definitely be back, since even in bad weather you can use the covered playground, volleyball court, and indoor pool.

We've been there three times already and can 100% recommend this park. It has everything you need. The kids have a blast. And you just feel right at home. The staff is super friendly and helpful.

An all-round satisfying short vacation
The Capfun site rightly has its 5 *. In addition to the typical Capfun swimming pool, which can be opened when the weather is nice and the temperatures are warm, and the usual slides, there is also an indoor swimming pool, an indoor sand playground with volleyball court and "beach bar", a bowling alley... and, in addition to the snack bar, an à la carte restaurant. In the middle of the campsite there is a large bathing lake with stand-up boards, a large water slide and a water playground. There are also many mobile homes right on the beach.

Beautiful place
We received a very friendly welcome. All the pitches are very large and there are small playgrounds all over the campsite. The sanitary facilities are cleaned several times a day and were always clean for us.
On the sandy beach you get a taste of the Caribbean, but we didn't go in the water, it was very... dark and it stank very unpleasantly. We always went to the outdoor or indoor pool. The slides on the beach have their own pool and water, but they are very badly grouted and of course very painful.
The soft ice cream on the campsite is very tasty and also good value. We found the food and drinks in the restaurant very expensive.

Nice campsite with flaws
We spent the last two weeks of the summer vacation (Baden Würtemberg) at this campsite. Unfortunately, we had "overlooked" on the Internet that the whole program is based on the Dutch vacations, i.e. that there was almost nothing on offer in the last weeks of the vacations. The internet only said "bathing... lake" - when we got the information sheet at the campsite, it said natural peat lake... If we had known this beforehand, we would not have booked this campsite - it was brown water and towards the end it "stank" in some places. This is just one shortcoming: we arrived at 3:30 pm and the mobile home had not yet been cleaned - when we returned to the mobile home later, the kitchen cupboards were still sticky. I first cleaned the cupboards and mopped the floor with a damp cloth - the water was black. The whole animation was in Dutch, the menu on the campsite was only in Dutch - the waitress didn't understand what we wanted to order, in the last week I came to the front in the morning to get fresh bread rolls as usual - there were only 3 rolls... in the last week you have to pre-order the rolls in the evening - no information sign anywhere that this is how it is done. There was nothing going on there in the last few weeks. Even the indoor area, where you could have played badminton in bad weather, was closed and the swimming pool times were also reduced. The highly praised slides are more than a bit outdated.... Conclusion: It's actually a nice place, but the fact that hardly anyone here speaks or understands English or German is incomprehensible to us. The dark water and the poor communicative service make us not want to visit this campsite again

Super campsite - perfect for the whole family
We arrived before the start of the vacation season in the Netherlands and found an almost empty campsite. Nevertheless, the staff were already in full swing preparing for the vacation season in Holland. But even when the site filled up, it remained very quiet for us. We had booked a pitch with private... sanitary facilities, which proved to be very practical. The bathroom was big enough, clean and had an outside sink for washing up. The pitch was always clean, the staff were always friendly and could mostly speak German. There was always something on offer for children. And even if you're not into entertainment, the campsite offers plenty of opportunities to pass the time. The area around the campsite is great for hiking and cycling. Reasonable shopping facilities are available in Hardenberg and Deedemsvaart. On the campsite you pay with a payment card, which you top up beforehand. For us it was a very successful vacation on the site and we can only recommend it to others.

We were at this wonderful place over Whitsun. You never get bored here. Not even when it rains. There is a lake and a swimming pool. Covered volleyball courts. Nice staff. The whole complex is super clean at all times despite being fully booked. Big praise to the operator.
