No lights in the washroom at night, no toilet paper, no hand soap

The setting, the simplicity, the size (not too big, so more welcoming), the beach (gorgeous!). A warm welcome, helpful staff The morning bread...great!

Add a fan to the unit A welcome cocktail party could be a great way to meet people (we’ve had this at other campgrounds, and it was really fun!) One small downside about the snack bar...in terms of value for the money.

The bathroom is outdated, very dark, and doesn't smell very pleasant.

I can't think of anything...

The campground is small-scale but has plenty of amenities. It’s very easy to navigate; even small children can explore on their own. It’s beautifully situated in a wooded area with a gorgeous private swimming spot in the river. The staff is friendly and all speak English and/or Dutch well. In the evenings, it’s quiet—except for a couple of low-key music nights twice a week. An absolutely fantastic campground!

Turn on the lights in the restroom building a little earlier. Set the shower temperature a little lower when it's hot. Clean the restroom walls once.

We really had a great time at the campground. The sites vary a lot in size and shape—from triangular to oblong. It’s really nice to have such a variety of sizes. That way, there’s something for everyone. The river is actually the best part of the campground. It’s very deep at its deepest point, but the depth slopes off very gradually. The mix of sand and pebbles is a nice change of pace, so kids can also just build sandcastles. The karaoke on Mondays is a popular event for young and old alike.

The restroom building is a bit outdated, and the push buttons for the shower have a very short press. The lights in this building should also come on sooner, especially when doing the dishes. The restroom building was always clean, though.

A vacation spot we were familiar with, but one we’ve revisited several times to combine relaxation with new discoveries. The river and its beach, right at the foot of the campground, are a haven for relaxation and refreshment; the setting is surrounded by lush greenery, and charming villages (as well as medieval ruins for history buffs) are just a few kilometers away. The campground staff is top-notch: helpfulness, activities, dining—nothing is missing from their range of services.

If anything, the restrooms could use some modernization every now and then. They're getting a little dated.

We really liked the campground because of its size, the trees, and especially its location along the river.
