At first I was worried about the nearby cable car, but it was only in operation from 8:30-17 and there was hardly any noise during the day. The campsite is very quiet and well maintained. The sanitary building is very modern and excellently maintained. Everything... is clean and the staff are very helpful and friendly. It's also great that you have black and gray water disposal directly on the site. Electricity and gas too, of course. There is a well-stocked small store and you can order goods daily from the local butcher and greengrocer, which are delivered the next day. Bread and rolls are available directly on site. The bus stop and valley station of the cable car provide many opportunities for hiking and cycling excursions. Finally, we recommend the very tasty pizza in the hotel's own pizzeria. All in all, there's nothing to complain about and I'm already looking forward to my next visitAutomatski prevedeno.

Unfortunately totally on the verge of demolition.
We booked 6 days, but unfortunately had to leave after 3 days because the weather was so bad that I got a sinus infection.
Nevertheless
we had to pay for all 6 days. Plus horrendous electricity prices of 60 euros for these 3 days.... All in all, we paid over 400 euros for 3 days. The excuse from the operators was, well, they just had big expenses for the renewal. Absolutely not flexible and unfortunately not recommended at all. The site is at over 1300m with a lot of wind. Too bad for the beautiful place, that's how you scare away campers. Let's see how many more years this will last.
Unfortunately only out for profit.

Everything is very modern and newly built. The restaurant, the store and the bread roll service are great.
The store is necessary as there are only very limited shopping facilities in Vals itself.
If you want to... do more shopping you have to drive to Mühlbach (9 km) or Brixen (22 km).
Everything is available at the campsite, including chemical toilet emptying.
The pitches are large enough if you are not staying overnight.
When the site is full, you can always expect to have to wait in the showers, so one point is deducted for this, as the sanitary blocks are new and the low number of showers is incomprehensible.
Especially when every free spot on the campsite is rented out for overnight guests in the high season.
The staff are really very friendly, the owners themselves still have room for improvement in this respect.......
You should be mobile, as there is not much on offer in this dead-end valley...ideal for those seeking peace and quiet.
Suggestion for improvement: rental car, which you can hire at reception.

Nice welcome and the farewell was also very friendly "How did you like it? Have a good trip". This is no longer a matter of course at most campsites these days.
Bread... rolls are available in the store in the morning.
Clean, new, very smart sanitary facilities (shower with removable shower head and washbasin in one room). There is even a drying room.
The pizzeria on the pitch is new and modern and the pizza is delicious.
