The nicest, friendliest, and cleanest campground we've seen in a long time. Not cheap, but definitely worth the price. Fans of wellness and saunas (which we aren't, actually) will really enjoy themselves here. We'd love to come back.

We deliberately bill for electricity based on actual consumption per kilowatt-hour. Unfortunately, electricity costs have... risen sharply in recent years, and our purchase prices also fluctuate considerably. Furthermore, the electricity price of EUR 1.30 also includes ongoing maintenance and the extra effort required to bill per exact kilowatt-hour. A fixed daily rate would certainly be simpler, but in our opinion, it would not be fair to our guests. Some guests use only 2 kilowatts per day, while others need 15 kilowatts or more due to the use of air conditioning.

The restrooms are very clean and well-maintained. There are also good facilities for babies. Free use of the freezer and refrigerator. It’s just a very neat campground. The view and experience are better here in a tent (on the tent field) than in a RV (tight spaces).

A great base for exploring the area. The pool is nearby and admission is free. There are also discounts on nearby activities. Even with two small children, the campground really offered plenty to do. Nice sauna!

A climbing frame in the playground would be a nice addition. The sauna should stay open later in the evening. Currently, the hours of operation are from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Pitch size: Our pitches are 8 × 10 m, i.e. 80 m² — which is generously sized for camping standards.
Shade: We are aware that shade-providing trees are missing on some pitches. We have specifically planted new trees in recent years; however, they need time to provide sufficient shade.
Pricing: Taxes, electricity and Wi-Fi are listed separately due to the different tax rates.
Wi-Fi: We have invested specifically in broadband, but we are dependent on Telekom regarding how much capacity they provide. We also know that connections in cities are better than here in the countryside.

Beautiful and quiet location, spacious pitches with good soil, everything very clean, exceptionally beautiful sauna area, top sanitary facilities. Actually a very nice campsite but....

"Forced alignment" of caravan and motorhome: pitched on the edge of the pitch with the door to the sanitary building ("that's the way it is here"), only a few water taps on the site, barbecue area far away (barbecuing on the pitch prohibited), cars only in the parking lot outside the pitch, no electricity flat rate in summer, expensive "additional services" such as electricity, WLAN, dog, bread roll service, etc. Be careful with reservations! If you leave early, you will still be charged the full price for the reserved period!
Overpriced.
It could actually be a very cozy and nice campsite if the operators were a little more flexible, more accommodating, more responsive to guests' wishes and had a better price-performance ratio.
This forced alignment of motorhomes and caravans gives the impression of a military barracks: everything in... "rank and file". And we prefer to position ourselves on the pitches according to our preferences (for sun, shade, view, wind, facing others in the group, etc.) and not in a way that suits the operators. Just uncomfortable.
The pitches are quite large and yet, cars have to be parked in the parking lot. Inconvenient.
Barbecue area is nice but far away. Everything has to be carried there, awkward walking back and forth.
Only a few water taps available on the site.

However, the campsite has an exceptionally beautiful sauna area, sauna fans will certainly get their money's worth! Really great!
Nice children's playground but a pool would definitely be better for the kids.

Our small group checked out a few campsites in the area beforehand and all were full except Walch's Camping. The operator obviously doesn't care why his campsite is so empty and the others are full. Both when we arrived (second half of August) and when we left (beginning of Sept.), the campsite was completely empty. I wonder why?
It's simply too expensive for what it is! Take a look at the prices on the net: for electricity, WLAN, dog, etc. Unfortunately record prices!

When a friend of mine left early (2 days earlier), the operator was not prepared to show any goodwill or make any concessions: he was charged the full price for the reserved time. I've only experienced this when booking hotels with flights, but not on a campsite. No go...
More flexibility, a better price-performance adjustment and goodwill on the part of the operator would do the campsite good and certainly ensure more guests.

Mr. K. is making every effort to badmouth us on various platforms. He has also announced this, as we have calculated his early departure.

This is nothing unusual and is also handled in this way by many colleagues. A campsite is also an accommodation establishment and can therefore be compared... with other accommodations. In addition, we clearly state in the reservation and deposit confirmation that early departures will be charged in full.

It is therefore not surprising that Mr. K. did not like many other things. However, a friend who had traveled with us was very satisfied and felt very comfortable with us.

Dear reader, make up your own mind. The fact that we have a large proportion of regular guests alone shows that the price-performance ratio is right.

The campground was very clean, and the complimentary guest card, which offered discounts on local attractions, was a nice touch. The saunas were beautiful and well-maintained.

The campground’s descriptions make it seem as though there’s more to do in the area than there actually is. For example, the pool isn’t exactly within walking distance (a 27-minute walk instead of the 15 minutes described), and the recreational activities are at least a half-hour drive away. We also missed having a place to cool off properly at the sauna (such as a plunge pool). That would really make the wellness area perfect.
A great campground, but especially for families.

We are very sorry that we did not fully meet your expectations. Of course, there are many families here during the high season. It’s not pleasant to be woken up in the morning by crying children. But there’s nothing we can do about that. The walk to the swimming pool is 1.5 km. It takes... about 15 minutes—for some, even longer.

For hygiene reasons, we do not have a plunge pool in the wellness area. However, there are waterfall showers with very cold water.

We were there with our two children (ages 3 and 7). The campground isn't too big. The kids were able to go anywhere they wanted the whole time. The sauna area was really great. The restrooms are very clean. There's a lounge and a playroom—which is especially nice when it rains.

Highlights: the campground, the covered ping-pong table, the indoor lounge, and the sauna facilities. The restrooms and dishwashing facilities are also excellent. Plenty of informational brochures. A great trash drop-off station. Very clean.

The only downside: the caravans and RVs are parked quite close together and offer little privacy—for example, there are no bushes between them.

You mentioned that you were not satisfied with the value for money. We offer a 4-star campground with 80 m² campsites. The price includes access to the 220 m² wellness area with various... saunas.

We also have a 5,000 m² playground with a barbecue area. Firewood for the barbecue area is available for free. From a dog shower to a children’s playroom, bike storage, lounge, washers and dryers, and much more, we offer a wide range of amenities on-site. A beautiful terrace invites you to relax and unwind.

Finally, we’d also like to mention that the Klostertal-Bludenz-Brandnertal guest card is included in the price. The 220 m² wellness area on the upper floor of the campground building, with a fantastic... view of the Lechtal Alps, the Rätikon, and the Verwall Group, is certainly the highlight of our campground. A Finnish sauna, bio sauna, infrared heat cabin, and Swiss stone pine sauna round out the offerings. Ample relaxation areas with an outdoor terrace invite you to unwind and let your mind wander.

In our region, there’s something for everyone—young and old alike. From golf to rock climbing. There are countless trails and routes, especially for cyclists. And of course, don’t forget the many hiking trails—ranging from leisurely to really steep.

All our sites are at least 10 x 8 m, or 80 m². This ensures everyone has plenty of space and privacy.
