The bistrorante Il Trenino isn't really a standout; the menu is very limited, consisting mainly of pinsa and french fries. The name sounds good—but that's not enough.
A beautiful spot with grapevines serving as a divider
A very nice campground; the entire staff is very friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, the dining area is small, and the menu is quite limited and expensive. I hope the campground operator finds a new caterer soon. On top of that, the caterer is also spreading rumors about the campground being up for... sale. The restroom facilities could use a refresh, but they’re clean.
The adjacent mobile homes (chalets) can sometimes be a bit noisy due to the residents’ attitudes.

Nice team, great pitch, everything clean!

There was nothing negative!
Another great visit to the Lindelgrund!
From the booking request, this time for the Caddyfreunde e.V., to the organization with cancellations and additional bookings, the arrival and the meeting itself. It was great at the Vino-Camp!

The pitches were great and A7 and A8 even had enough space at the back to be able to sit together as a group... in a safe and sheltered area.

We felt very comfortable and everything was spotlessly clean.

The reception made us feel at home as soon as we arrived.
We will be back again!
Thank you!

We had a good meal at the Italian restaurant at the campsite.
Negativne strane
The bread rolls are baked and expensive. The sanitary building at the playground was unfortunately not always clean. We missed a small store where you could maybe buy a piece of cake or something else.
A little time out
We stayed here at the campsite for 4 days and had no problems getting to the site. The friendly manager provided us with lots of information straight away and we had a little wine tasting with him to find the right wine for the evening. Our pitch P5 was nice and big and the only one that was still free.... As it was directly opposite the playground, it was very noisy on Saturday, as families with children also come from outside and spend the day there.

Spend the night in the countryside
We spent one night here. We were woken up in the morning by the sound of nightingales. The site is very scenic and quiet. It is a good starting point for cycling and hiking tours in the beautiful Nahe valley and the surrounding mountains. Bad Kreuznach and Bingen are within easy reach.
The site has its... own restaurant. The sanitary facilities are practical (many hooks, storage facilities). There are several wash houses (one for every two terraces). The terraced layout of the pitches lightens up the impression.

A very nicely laid out campsite. We highly recommend rows A & B.
Unfortunately we were in row C. Our pitch was just enough, but we didn't mind with 3 nights.
Otherwise nice staff and very clean sanitary facilities. We felt comfortable and will definitely be back.

No W Lan at our pitch Sanitary container takes getting used to
Great place with a view of the vineyards
Unfortunately, we only spent one night at this beautiful campsite.
At reception we were given a folder with everything we needed to know (excursion tips, cycle paths, hiking trails, shopping facilities etc.) to look at (very helpful).
The terraced pitches are very beautiful between the vines. Unfortunately... we had no W LAN at the site, although we were assured of reception.
There are numerous leisure activities from the campsite and it's a dream for cyclists in particular.
The sanitary containers took some getting used to for us, as the toilets and showers are in one room.
However, we will definitely be back.

Nice place with connection to the Nahe cycle path. Very nice reception at the reception. There is also an extensive range of wines available with very good advice. Unfortunately, toilets, showers and washing facilities are all under one roof. Shower tokens with 5 minutes net shower time. The terraces... are well parceled out. Waste water connection on terrace C is unfortunately missing. Restaurant good, Italian, German and Indian - highly recommended. Good connection to the Nahe cycle path towards Bingen or Bad Münster.

Ideal for families with small children
A relaxed camping vacation because the little ones "work" all day on the playground. Dads and moms can chill out on a wellness lounger. Saturday afternoon half-hour field train ride with an old diesel locomotive. Saturday evening sometimes wine tasting near the playground. Looking for sticks at the Guldenbach for stick bread, where you can also refresh your feet in the water.

A water and mud paradise for the little ones
Children love the large water and mud playground and are hard to get away from there. There are camping pitches in the immediate vicinity, so you can also keep an eye on the children from the pitch.
You can also splash around in the nearby Guldenbach. The nearest swimming pool with slide and diving towers is easily accessible by bike (approx. 3 km).

Beautiful place
The site is wonderfully located in a former gravel pit. We stayed here for a long weekend over Corpus Christi. The children (3/8/11) had a lot of fun in the water playground and the normal playground. On Saturday we took part in a lovely wine tasting by a very competent local winemaker by the pond.

- Location and ambience, very nicely laid out - friendly staff and operator - excellent children's playground - clean sanitary facilities - Feldbahn within walking distance, a ride is highly recommended - Enclosure with goats and ducks - Enclosure with nandus (you can't be squeamish when feeding the nandus, but it's still fun) - Bread rolls can be ordered online until 8 pm - short distances - dog-friendly
Negativne strane
- the sanitary facilities nearby could do with a few wash cubicles (you may not want/need to shower every day) - there are water sliders in the shower cubicles, but where to put the water and dirt?
Great place with room for improvement
When we made our reservation, we were only offered a pitch between the vines. Access to the caravan and awning was a bit tight. But that was okay for the 10 nights. The vines also provided privacy.
The reception was very friendly and we were given lots of information.
The surrounding area offers many... opportunities for cycling tours and perfect and mostly shady walks.
We were particularly impressed by the light railway museum and the ride on the light railroad. For my two-and-a-half-year-old grandson, who was visiting, the playground was a highlight, one of the best playgrounds she has seen, according to his mom.
If we ever want to spend our big annual vacation on the site, then only on a site with a slightly larger area.
According to the flyer, we were supposed to be able to use the WiFi on terrace A for a fee. However, Wi-Fi was only weak or not available at all. It's a good thing I didn't buy a ticket and that my smartphone had good reception. To save my honor: I have never been to a place where the WiFi was used, despite the costs.
We also ate twice in the restaurant on site. The food was okay, the schnitzels were just ready-made from the fridge, but the very tasty tomato soup was either home-made or refined. Next time I will go for the pasta dishes, which my wife and daughter say are quite good.
In Langenlonsheim, we enjoyed some delicious ice cream in an ice cream parlor.
My conclusion: now that I know the disadvantages and the advantages outweigh the disadvantages for me, it's a place I'd like to visit again, especially as it's not far from my daughter, son-in-law and grandson in Mainz.

Beautifully located and very well maintained Large sanitary cabins that are always clean and well maintained. Bread roll service (can be ordered via WhattsApp until 8pm).
Negativne strane
Absolutely no disadvantages found.
Very nice place
This very well-kept site is located on the edge of Guldental. The exceptionally friendly owners (father and daughter) always endeavor to make your stay as pleasant as possible.

A good restaurant with East Asian cuisine also offers German dishes.
(Attention, the landlord likes it very spicy...) :o)
...
Great sanitary facilities, with spacious shower cubicles. (For the first time I discovered folding glass doors in a shower cubicle. Showering like at home!!!)

Another highlight (perhaps not for everyone) are the 2 outdoor showers on the lower part of the pitch.
The cabins have walls, but are open at the top. This creates a great feeling of space.

The uncomplicated bread roll service is also great. You can order bread rolls for the next morning via "WhatsApp" or "SMS" until 20:00 in the evening.

Dogs on a lead are also welcome here.
We were also allowed to arrive with our 5 dogs by prior arrangement. We would like to take this opportunity to thank you once again for making us and our 5 border collies so welcome.

Camping in November
We received a very warm welcome. It is important to make an appointment in advance, as reception is not permanently staffed out of season. We were given great tips for excursions and hiking routes when we booked. The campsite has a wonderful petting zoo with goats, ducks and rabbits.
Many thanks for the lovely extended weekend. We will be back.

Cozy and versatile
Very versatile site in a great location. A wide variety of pitches and the upper area is predominantly for permanent campers. Site still in transition - exciting. Ecological implementation of sanitary facilities, waste, etc. Very good and clean sanitary facilities. Many excursion possibilities in the... surrounding area and beautiful walking and hiking opportunities directly from the site. Good base for wine lovers; nice little restaurant on the site. Very friendly and helpful reception staff. Pitches good but sometimes a bit difficult to maneuver. Reservations recommended.

The layout of the sanitary blocks takes some getting used to
Here you can relax.
A campsite where you feel at home. We were given a very nice welcome and there was a folder with things worth seeing within a radius of about 50km. That was something new for us. You don't need to collect lots of flyers that end up in the bin.
The sanitary facilities took some getting used to. The showers... were very big, but there weren't really any washbasins to wash in. So I blocked a shower even though I wasn't taking a shower. Our second fear was that we would have to queue early or in the evening to wash. But even that was only rarely and briefly the case.
We have often experienced that the pitches these days are designed for caravans/motorhomes. With a folding caravan, which can be twice as wide as a caravan, the pitch quickly becomes tiny. But it was fine. This was also due to the fact that the pitch was not full to bursting.
We liked the idea of pitches for people passing through. The amazing thing was that they parked their caravan, secured it a bit, put out the chairs and that was that. So far so good. The next morning we set off at the crack of dawn. It was as if some people were clearing out the whole caravan and putting it away again. It was a real phenomenon. But that's not a problem that the operator can do anything about. It was just funny that this applied to 70% of those "passing through". And only if you don't sleep like death.
Let's not forget the restaurant. They must be really busy at peak times (hence the longer waiting times), but the food is great.

Super friendly owner who looks after his CP with great attention to detail and a watchful eye. We felt very well looked after. The playground in the CP itself is second to none. Great attractions (climbing tree and water playground, petting zoo, etc.) The advice on offers in the surrounding places, the food on site (you have to try the Indian cuisine) In short, a CP that is second to none.
