The hospitality, the setting, nature, the peace and quiet, the amenities, the fry shop, the cleanliness, the simplicity. The shared restrooms are very clean—€1 for 7 minutes is great, but a little long, though still valuable. Swimming in the Sémois is the best. Kayaking, but only before the heatwave season— after that, the water level of the Sémois doesn’t allow it anymore.

No downsides, just a suggestion: the ladder for Tipi 1 to climb up to the bunk bed 😁 A very small child can fit, but an adult can’t 🤣 Putting the bunk beds on the left would solve the problem 🙏👍 This isn’t the campground’s fault— kayaking wasn’t possible because the water level in the Semois was way too low. Unfortunately, this hurts the campground’s reputation, since kayaking is one of its main recreational activities. Nevertheless, We had a great time with all the walks to do in the area, like exploring the region, the surroundings, the good restaurants too, and the local shops. The Walloons are very kind and welcoming; thank you to the campground owners for their hospitality and their kindness.
I was pleasantly surprised!
We had a fantastic stay with my nephew in the teepee—it was so unique, right in the middle of nature with a barbecue. What more could you ask for?! 👍😁🥰 We’ll be back! In three and a half days, we didn’t have time to do everything, but honestly, I really recommend this campground for a peaceful, quiet... getaway in the forest. It’s a nature campground—not one with evening entertainment or anything like that. In the evenings, it’s just peaceful, quiet nature, and that’s exactly what I was looking for. Peace and tranquility. We came from the south of France, and honestly, it was definitely worth the long drive to this gorgeous region of Wallonia😁🥰 Thank you so much 🙏
P.S.: There’s no ATM, and the deposit is based on trust. The first town you’ll come to is Florenville, which I highly recommend to everyone.

Stony ground for tents
I was there with my motorcycle and tent in May. The reception was closed, you had to phone someone. Most of the site is filled with mobile homes. There are only a few reasonably level pitches for tents. Due to the shade of the mountain and the stony ground, hardly any grass grows on them. The pegs are... very difficult to drive into the ground. The sanitary facilities are absolutely ok and very clean. The location on the river with the picturesque bridge is very beautiful. Nevertheless, not recommended for tent campers. I would not camp there again.

Small, friendly campsite
Small, secluded campsite on the banks of the Semois (store 5 minutes away). Ideal for mountain biking and kayaking. Waterfront snack bar/friterie. New, clean sanitary facilities.
