The campsite has remained just as good over the years. Beautiful pitches, partly paved if you want. Very clean sanitary facilities. Friendly manager and friendly staff.
Negativne strane
the internet is not great near the tent meadow
As always: everything is great
Camping Janse has retained its advantages for us over the years. Good pitches with drainage, electricity and TV. There are clean sanitary facilities with spacious showers (cost 50 cents per wash), which are also very clean in the high season.
The sandwich store on the adjacent pitch has improved its... range. There is a playground for children, recreation rooms, a reading corner and occasional entertainment. There are plenty of things to do.
For those who don't want to cook, there is Neptunus on the steps over the dune with good food at local prices and friendly service. There is also a restaurant opposite the campsite. Zoutelande with its supermarket, restaurants and stores is only 1 km away. A bicycle is very useful here and the car can stay put.
There is plenty to do in the surrounding area. Information is available at the reception.
You only have to cross the dune and the cycle path to get to the beach, there are several providers of beach huts - booking in advance is recommended.
Very nice at Camping Janse: no dogs :-)
We are looking forward to our next summer vacation at Camping Janse.

Very well run campsite, fortunately none! Animation (only for children), no dogs
Negativne strane
Bread roll store on the neighboring square only offers baked goods
Well-run campsite right by the sea
The site is very well run and everything is always well maintained. The sanitary facilities are always very clean and in good order, even if they are now a little older.
If you like it, you can get a partially paved pitch. The pitches are perfectly drained and absolutely level.
There is neither a restaurant... nor shopping facilities on the site. There is a beach pavilion on the steps to the beach, which offers good food at local prices. The sandwich store on the neighboring square only offers baked goods. The supermarket (1 km - can be reached by bike) has better baked goods but if you are lazy ...
To get to the beach you have to climb about 120 steps over the dune and along the cycle path, which is also used recklessly by very sporty e-bikers. But you don't have to cross any roads. Beach huts can be rented in the village if you don't want to lug your beach gear over the dune every day.
All in all, we were impressed by the campsite: quiet yet child-friendly, close to the beach, no dogs, no fuss. Zoutelande and Westkapelle are also not far away. And you don't really need a car here - you can do everything by bike.

Very well-kept, quiet site directly behind the dunes. Paved pitches or meadow pitches, there is something for everyone. Very clean, spacious sanitary facilities. Nice operators.
Negativne strane
50 cents for the shower and 2 euros extra per night for kettle-compatible 8 amp electricity.
Beautiful place near Zoutelande
The campsite is located directly behind the dunes within walking distance of Zoutelande. There is a beach pavilion in the immediate vicinity.
The pitches are generously sized. Partly paved with a small paved terrace and a meadow area. But there are also beautiful grass pitches. Everyone should find something... suitable here.
High hedges and trees provide some protection from the sun and wind.
Overall, the site is very well maintained and the paths are partly newly paved. The sanitary building is spacious and very clean.
There is a small kiosk with fresh bread rolls right next to the site.

We find the 50 cents for showers and the surcharge of €2 (per night) for the upgrade to 8 amps suitable for electric kettles a little out of date.

But that's the only point of criticism. The operators are very nice and the campsite is definitely worth a recommendation.

Simply good is not enough here ...
A great place for a vacation, you can say of many campsites. At the Janse campsite in Zoutland (NL), this is not only true in many cases, but in all facets. The site is superbly run. You can tell from the friendly welcome. Even if you can't book via a booking system, the personal contact more than makes... up for this. Email contact is also fast, uncomplicated and friendly. This continues all the way to the pitch. Designated and marked pitches. Uncomplicated supply column that also offers DVB-T2. So the satellite dish could remain in the bed base. The pitch area is generously dimensioned. The lawn mixture must be special here. A lush, dense green without any weeds. Great barefoot running lawn. What you can't see straight away: Functioning drainage. We have waded through muddy meadows on other courses in the area after a rain shower, but you don't notice anything, even if it rains for 3 days straight, as it did here. There are also paved and wide paths, hedges and trees all around. You don't notice anything from the road. The site is also very quiet and relaxing despite being full. The wash house is a great place to stay. Modern and very clean. Sufficient showers and toilets. The latter are even available in different heights for small (children) and tall people. Showers with heated towel rail and double-head shower. 50 cents for a shower is not much and the time is more than enough. There are also dishwashing areas inside and washing up areas all around. We immediately noticed that each washing-up area has a plug and a sponge. So you can easily leave the place as you found it. Just clean. The waste station is also clean and adequate. The highlight of the pitch is the wind protection of the dunes and at the same time the maximum proximity to the beach. Just a few meters and steps separate the pitch from the very, very nice "Neptunus" beach pavilion. There you will find friendly service as well as delicious food and drink. This includes seating in the dry as well as on the open terrace with a magnificent view of the sea. If you want to go shopping, you can cycle to the beautiful and well-stocked supermarket "Jumbo". Overall, this wonderful place fits in with the beautiful area. We will definitely be back.

Very well-kept quiet place behind the North Sea dike
The vacation began in the best possible way with the friendly welcome at reception. Our pitch was big enough, fresh water nearby. Very well-kept and clean site, sanitary facilities in top condition! Fresh bread rolls are available at the neighboring site, restaurants outside. Conclusion: we would love to come back...

Super!
Simply a great campsite right by the sea. Everything here was convincing. The friendliness of the owners deserves a special mention. We had a few problems at the beginning because we arrived far too early and the TV connection didn't work, but they were super friendly and helpful. Everything was very straightforward. We will definitely be back. Thank you very much.

Family-friendly campsite
Family-run campsite. Very hospitable and extremely child-friendly. In the high season there is entertainment for children of all ages.
The campsite itself is very clean and well laid out. Washrooms, showers and toilets are cleaned and disinfected several times a day.
Shopping facilities are within 10... minutes walking distance.
Fine sandy beach right next to the campsite (approx. 300m walk).
We have been guests of the Lous family for 3 weeks every year since 2018.
Highly recommended for family camping and of course for camping enthusiasts.

Perfect vacation
We (2 adults) can only confirm the numerous positive aspects from the location to the facilities to the pleasant atmosphere; we neither looked for nor found any disadvantages. All in all, a perfect vacation. The only "flaw": with a 700km journey, unfortunately a short vacation in between is not possible....

Beautiful and large, partly paved pitches. Great playgrounds for the little ones. Clean sanitary facilities. Direct connection to cycle paths. The great sandy beach is within walking distance via the dune. There are no shopping facilities directly on site, but the nearest supermarket is only 1.5 km away and easily accessible by bike / on foot.

Wonderful by the sea
Campung Janse offers a friendly welcome just outside the village. The family-run campsite impresses with its well-kept grounds and its location right next to the dunes. The sanitary facilities are functional and offer everything you need. Spacious shower cubicles. Several washbasins in a row. Very clean... at all times, even when fully occupied. There is a bread store on the next pitch, a restaurant and snack bar on the opposite side of the road, and also on the beach Our pitch had water, waste water and electricity. To the nearest supermarket approx. 1.5 km, Zoutelande itself and Westkapelle approx. 2 km. Located directly on the cycle path. Here you can spend a carefree vacation. We would love to come back.
