The site is a paradise for children: Adventure playgrounds, entertainment programs, a climbing park and the great fun pool "Aqua Mundo" are guaranteed to keep boredom at bay. There is also plenty for adults to discover - from bike hire and wellness facilities to a wide variety of restaurants.
The sanitary facilities were modern and were cleaned regularly. We would also like to highlight the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff.
We felt completely at ease and will definitely be back! We were registered for the "handicrafts" activity. But because of the ice and snow, the entertainment didn't make it. As compensation, all the children were allowed to play in the pirate's nest for two hours free of charge. I would like to make special mention of one member of staff from the Pirates' Nest. I have rarely been treated with so much friendliness and warmth. I was even allowed to use the fitness room free of charge. The fitness room is equipped with new and well-maintained equipment. This is not a matter of course for a campsite.
When the employee saw that I couldn't get my child out of the Tobeland, she offered me her help without being asked and let me in briefly to fetch him. For me, an absolute and thoughtful pearl.
The facilities at Badeparadies are great. My son loves the wave pool and the outdoor slide. The lifeguards take their job seriously and watch the children in the wave pool and on the slides. I also saw them keeping a close eye on a child who was having problems with the waves and offering to get him out. Afterwards, we had a brief conversation with the mother. Even though it is clearly the task of parents and guardians to look after their children, I think this conscientious implementation is very good.
Unfortunately, the sauna was not open. This is due to two problems. It is currently defective. I would like to see it repaired. And there is a lack of qualified staff to supervise it. It would be great if a wonderful campsite like this had a sauna again. 1. the regulation with the swimming pool that you have to stand in line for 30 minutes to visit it spoils the fun so you don't visit it more often, I think there are certainly other ways to regulate it Pitch a little more expensive but... swimming pool for free or settlement of swimming pool visits on departure.
2. there are such nice animatons and handicraft activities on offer, but they are so full that unfortunately you can't get to them and therefore have sad children. Maybe work with registrations or move to a larger tent if the space is so full!
3. we have never had such poor WLAN and network reception on a campsite! Der kleine REWE-Laden hat eigentlich alles, was man zum Leben benötigt - sogar inklusive glutenfreier Lebensmittel.NegatiivisetKein WLAN auf dem Stellplatz. Um 15 Uhr Stau bei der Einfahrt. Nachbarn in Mietchalet, die sich nicht an einfachste Camperregeln halten.Camper und NichtcamperWir fahren seit Anfang der 90er Jahre mit Wohnwagen und Wohnmobil auf Campingplätze. Bereits vor 25-30 Jahren waren wir auf dem Südsee-Camp. Bei unserem jetzigen Aufenthalt im Bereich Sommerland waren wir auf einem sehr großen Stellplatz, der direkt an die EuroCamp-Chalets grenzte. Diese haben ihre Zuwegung... von der nördlichen Seite, was aber zu den zentralen Plätzen ein Umweg ist. Daher gingen oder fuhren diese Mieter ("Nichtcamper") über die davor liegenden Plätze und sogar über unseren Vorzeltteppich (bei eingefahrener Markise). Es gab keine wirkliche Abtrennung z.B. durch eine Hecke.
Das WLAN war in diesem Bereich quasi nicht vorhanden trotz wenig Belegung der Stellplätze.
Um 15 Uhr (Anreisezeit) staute sich an der Einfahrt 2 der Verkehr bis weit auf die Hauptstraße, da die Nummernschilder (vielleicht?) schlecht von der Schrankenelektronik gelesen wurden. Spielplätze und bei schlechtem Wetter auch indoor spielen möglich. Wenn man nicht will muss man den Urlaub über den Platz nicht verlassen denn auch ein Supermarkt, Badesee mit Strand (die Südsee), kletter Möglichkeiten, Fußballplätze, Tischtennis Platten, der Reitstall und noch viel mehr lassen es einen gut gehen. Nur braucht man für die ein oder anderen Angebote Bargeld. Wenn man das weiß kann man sich darauf einstellen.
Man sollte einen Roller oder Fahrräder dabei haben denn die Wege sind schon weit.
Das Personal ist super freundlich und wenn man fragen hat kann man die Rezeption auch per Mail anschreiben und bekommt super schnell eine Rückmeldung. Abreise bis 12 Uhr ist... fair. Spätabreise währe wünschenswert. Durch online Buchung und Bezahlung ist kein Besuch in der Rezeption notwendig. Sonntags war gegen 9 Uhr der inklusive Strom verbraucht, der definitiv zu wenig ist.

Waren leider nur 3 Tage, wovon... wir einen im Schwimmbad waren. Von außen sieht es sehr klein gehalten aus, was uns aber täuschte... richtig schönes Schwimmbad zu humanen Preisen. Einzige Manko sind die Umkleiden, das ist ein bisschen eng getaktet... Ansonsten aber super! 👍
Bisschen schade ist auch, das alles dort Geld kostet... wenigstens das Trampolin hätten sie mal kostenlos lassen können...
Werden aber trotzdem wieder kommen, da es für uns eine kurze Anfahrt war u für ein Wochenende super zu fahren ist :)

Bei unserem Klohaus 15 Minuten warten bis nen Klo frei wurde. Klos kaputt und/oder offene Baustellen. Das einzig Positive wirklich, dass die Mitarbeiter... sehr nett waren und auch das wir kurzfristig umbuchen konnten von Zelt auf Mietwohnwagen. Ansonsten werden wir diesen Campingplatz nicht weiter empfehlen. Schade für den Preis hätten wir absolut mehr erwartet.

Die „Familienduschen“ in den übrigen Waschhäusern sind nur für ein Geschlecht, das heißt, dass nur Mama oder Papa mit rein können, nicht aber... alle zusammen. Die Türen der sogenannten Familienduschen sind so schmal, dass man mit einem Kinderwagen nicht rein kommt. Für das Baby gibt es lediglich eine harte Ablage neben der „Badewanne“. Außerdem unmittelbar neben der Badewanne befinden sich zwei Steckdosen!!!
Das Schwimmbad bleibt leider an 5 von 7 unserer Reisetage geschlossen. Der See ist für unser Baby natürlich zu kalt.
Das WLAN auf unserem Stellplatz kann man nicht als WLAN gelten lassen, da dieses nur sporadisch und wenn denn sehr schlecht verfügbar war.

Ich... war frohe wo ich wieder raus konnte aus dem Waschraum da ich gegen Schimmel und Staub erlegisch bin .
Lieber sich mehr Zeit nehmen beim putzen und die Sachen regelmäßig instandsetzen.
Wir werden trotzdem nächste Jahr wieder kommen .
Allerdings hoffe ich sehr das dann besser geputzt wird und auch mehr in standgehalten wird.

Was uns extrem gestört hat, waren leider die vielen E Scooter/Fahrzeugen. Diesen werden schon von Kindern genutzt die überhaupt kein Gefühl für die Geschwindigkeit haben. So kam es schon... einige Male zu brenzligen Situationen. Auch Erwachsene Auto oder Rad Fahrer taten sich schwer die 5 km einzuhalten. Dies sollte unbedingt im Auge behalten werden oder aber geändert.
Mit Mittagsruhe mit Fahrverbot gibt es leider auch nicht. Sehr schade, dass man von den Urlaubern erwartet nur im Notfall zu fahren, aber die nächsten Urlauber schon während der Mittagsruhe auf das Gelände gelassen werden. Kein gutes Vorbild.

Das Südsee-Camp ist ein wirklich großer Campingplatz der jedem das bietet wonach er sucht. Es gibt Plätze mitten im Getümmel... aber man kann auch ganz ruhige Orte finden.
Für Familien ist der Platz optimal, es gibt Animationen, reiten, den großen Badesee, Trampolin, den Indoorspielplatz und natürlich das Badeparadies und so vieles mehr.
An dieser Stelle muss ich für das Südsee-Camp mal eine Lanze brechen. In Gesprächen mit anderen Campern hört man häufig das Sie es nicht angemessen finden das das Schwimmbad extra Eintritt kostet. Sicherlich ist der Platz nicht der Günstigste aber wenn man die gebotene Qualität berücksichtigt empfinden wir dies als angemessen. Das Badeparadies ist top sauber und die Wasserqualität spitze und das zu einem fairen Preis. An einem Tag war das Badeparadies geschlossen also waren wir in einer nahegelegenen anderen Therme. Alle die hier meckern können gerne mal die Therme besuchen, so lernt man das Badeparadies wirklich zu schätzen.
Kurzum ist das Südsee-Camp ein toller Platz auch für Familien mit besonderen Kindern. Alle sind extrem freundlich und auch der Umgang in unserem Falle mit einem autistischen Kind war stets nett und unproblematisch, dies haben wir schon ganz anders erlebt.

dieser Platz ist für uns landesweit einfach der Beste und wird es auch bleiben. Wir waren hier schon oft mit unseren Kindern , das letzte mal 2009 noch mit eigenem Wohnwagen. Nun hatten wir die Gelegenheit mit unserer Enkelin Urlaub zu machen, also wohin ? Natürlich Südseecamp, Mietwohnwagen.... Hier hat man einen tollen Platz für Kinder, jede Menge Ausflugsziele auf der Nase (Serengeti Park, Heide Park....) und auf dem Platz selbst wird auch alles geboten was ein Kinderherz so begehrt. Baden geht immer dank dem herrlichem Hallenbad, Nur die RAPPELKISTE hat gefehlt. Das ist echt schade und das einigste Manko an diesem ansonsten wunderschönen Urlaub.

Wäre mein Vorschlag diese eine kleine Stück ohne Sandstrand zu nutzen um eine Hundebadestelle dort zu ermöglichen. Eine vierköpfige Familie wäre es sonst nicht möglich zusammen einen Tag am See zu verbringen. Stattdessen wird man weggeschickt, da es so in der Platzordnung steht. Da finde ich ist auf jeden Fall eine Verbesserung möglich seitens des Campingplatzes. Denn die Zielgruppe ist auf jeden Fall die Familie. Leider nun extrem Einwegpfand-fixiert, Bier fast nur aus der Dose - das konnte der alte Schlemmermarkt besser, genau wie die Frischtheken... für Bäckerei und Fleisch. Beides weg, nur noch abgepackt bzw. REWE-Aufbackbrötchen von 50 bis 70 Cent .
Mietbäder im Waschhaus 4: vor wenigen Jahren eröffnet, so langsam ist der Lack etwas ab, die Regendusche war völlig verkalkt, da kamen nur 5 Strahlen kreuz und quer raus. Wenn der Gast, der dafür zahlt, erstmal die Düsen massieren muss, damit da wieder mehr rauskommt - ich weiß nicht...
Service insgesamt aber weiter gut, in der Hochsaison reichen aber die Mengen an Handtuchrollen in den Waschhäusern nicht lang genug vor - oft genug ist das Ding leer, und den Händetrockner mit Luft wollen wohl nicht alle nutzen.
Fazit für mich: ja, immer noch schick, aber so nach und nach findet man mehr Salz in der Suppe, wenn man es aus den letzten Jahren auch besser kennt. Wir hatten einen Zeltplatz in der "Oase" direkt an einem Waschhaus. Die Woche über mussten wir den Campingplatz kaum verlassen, da wie alles vor Ort hatten. Einkaufsmöglichkeit, Gastronomie und Unterhaltung (vor allem für unsere 3 jährige Tochter). Alles im allem... war das ein sehr toller Urlaub und wir konnten viele Angebote vom Südsee-Camp nutzen! Wir kommen nächstesJahr definitiv wieder!

Wir fanden es toll,dass alles gut zu Fuß erreichbar ist und dass es sogar ein Supermarkt gibt.
Toiletten und der Platz selber war sehr sauber.
