The operator, who was actually nice by email, was absolutely unfriendly and arrogant and we left the campsite and never received an email asking us to book further activitiesFirst contact ok, but then.....Absolutely unfriendly, arrogant and unacceptable sanitary facilities. Jörg S.syyskuu 2023PositiivisetLocation, tranquillity, beer garden on the DiemelNegatiivisetPlumbing very basic, no hot water at sinks (which are outside under a canopy)Beautiful locationVery quiet location directly on the Diemel, large, open and non-parceled meadow, always sunny. Few electricity connections, more for campers and self-sufficient vehicles. Very basic sanitary facilities and far too few in the season (2 toilets, two showers, three washbasins). Canoes are rented out at... the site, so it is always busy. Ideal for groups, which you often meet. You can hire fire bowls and barbecues (and buy wood). There is also a restaurant with simple food and drinks in a rustic barn and beer garden right by the water under old trees.

Writing the students together!Great location but choleric, extremely unfriendly staffThe stay at Hofgut Stammen is great in terms of the location and activities, but the owner and his first employee are malicious, plan ahead and make fun of you when it suits them. Despite booking more than a year in advance! The staff actually snapped at us when we asked nicely if we could perhaps go canoeing before late afternoon.
