Idyllic at a train station
The site is located in front of Lods on the left bank of the Loue (i.e. not next to the road) opposite an old industrial site. Ideally situated halfway between Ornans and the source of the Loue. But what makes it special is that it is located on the former terminus of an abandoned railroad line. You... can still see a shed, a tunnel, the turntable and the station building (now used as a colonie des vacances SNCF). On the same bank, a kind of industrial trail leads to Lods (which, incidentally, has been awarded the title "un des plus beaux villages de la France". However, although the site attracts more and more campers every year, the sanitary facilities are criminally neglected - we always noticed the same broken bolts in the years 2012-2016 (today we no longer visit the site as we no longer have a dog that is sensitive to fireworks and would have to leave Switzerland around August 1st.

Good for exploring the "Source de La Loue" if you also want to do some hiking.

The vacation begins on the way
Practical pitch. We only spent two nights here on the way. For exploring the region with normal requirements, a beautifully located pitch at a reasonable price.
