"Three nights in Levanto with neighbors - We were given a pitch that was narrowed on one side by a power column. Unfortunately, two campers came very close to us on the following days. The management was not able to move the unruly neighbors

"Ideally located campsite for visiting the Cinque Terre - Small campsite with friendly staff within walking distance of the train station. The guests usually stay a few days and all seem to have the intention of visiting the Cinque Terre. Friendly staff and clean sanitary facilities. Very narrow pitches. High prices, like all pitches at this location. We paid around 50 euros per night for two people with a caravan, not including the local tax.

"good for visiting Cinque Terre - The CP is very suitable for visiting Cinque Terre. The train station is within easy walking distance and the town center is also not far away. The pitches are flat, no terraces, but quite small, like all the campsites in this area. We didn't like the place very much, the beach is private almost everywhere and the place has no charm.

"Location very good, but interests must be consistent with this place. - The pitches are quite narrow, the site itself is manageable. The san. The sanitary facilities are a bit outdated and spartan, but clean. The staff are very nice and give you information about everything. Unfortunately, you can no longer sit in the bistro in the evening and have a nice drink as it is closed. Larger grocery shopping only possible in town. Not very suitable for caravans as the maneuvering options are very limited. More of a transit site for motorhomes with parking times of 3-4 days. A two-wheeler is recommended for trips to the nearby town or to the beach, as parking spaces are rare.

"Cinqueterre stop - We really wanted to see Cinqueterre and the location is ideal for this. The train station with excellent train connections is less than 10 minutes' walk away. The site itself is rather small, divided into an area for tents (for which there are also 2 tiny terraces) and an area for camper vans and caravans. The layout of this area is more reminiscent of a better camper van site, but it is nicely laid out with trees as boundaries and pitches on reasonably tidy grass. Those arriving with a caravan usually have to park their car in the parking lot belonging to the campsite. There are perhaps 2-3 larger pitches where this is not necessary. Most pitches are long enough for larger vehicles, but the pitches are so narrow that an awning cannot be fully extended. When it rains, some pitches turn into bogs. The sanitary facilities are cramped and not in the best condition, but are kept very clean. Hot water for showers is free. There is none at the washbasins and it costs 50 cents to wash up. During the day, the site is quite noisy due to the directly adjacent road, the access road to the neighboring site and the nearby town, but very quiet at night. There is a tiny store with a simple bistro. Here you can order moderate bread rolls and brioche in advance. Despite some shortcomings, we would return to the site for a visit to Cinqueterre, as we are in Cinqueterre during the day and in Levanto in the evening and practically only use the site for sleeping. However, the site is not suitable for a longer stay. Incidentally, getting there is no problem at all.

Countless hiking trails lead you through pine forests, to hidden coves, and into peaceful villages. Along the way, you’ll find small local restaurants ready to spoil you with traditional Ligurian food. If you're into biking, you'll love the range of mountain bike trails around Levanto. One of the highlights is the scenic bike and pedestrian path that runs through old railway tunnels from Levanto to Bonassola and on to Framura. Between the tunnels, you’ll discover stunning views and quiet beaches that were once only accessible by boat – now just a short ride or walk away. Camping Albero d’Oro offers not only a great location but also a warm, relaxed atmosphere. Whether you're travelling with a tent, campervan or caravan, this is your peaceful place by the sea.
