Standing under fruit trees at harvest time (pitch 52) is unfavorable and attracts wasps, otherwise optimal space for a small caravan. Drinking water is not marked at the tapping points. Free washing-up area = drinking water? A dog owner had asked... Note: unfortunately it happened 2/3 times that a young guest got the door off in the ladies' washroom, washbasin too close to the door and the shower has no storage facilities - just one chair is simply not enough for women 😉.Rated goodOtherwise it was a nice stay with you.

After being turned down at two other campsites in Leipzig, we spontaneously went to Camp David.
An employee tried to help us and give us information before the campsite opened.
There were still a few places available and we were able to find our own pitch.
We were aware of the aircraft noise... beforehand and after a while you can no longer hear it.
The big advantage was that we were out of season and it was very quiet.
In summer, it's probably the perfect place for families with children and teenagers.
There is a lot of action around the lake.
(Definitely great)
If you're looking for peace and quiet, book during school term time.
The pitches in our area were all on grass and fairly level. If you are a bit on the edge, you should take one more cable with you, then it can be 50 meters. There were 230 V Schuko as well as Euro connections (blue)
As I said, there were perhaps at least 2 toilets missing.
The water for showering was always warm and the shower curtains didn't bother me. THE MAIN THING WAS CLEAN. And that was it.
You can make very nice hikes around the lake, about 8 km.
It doesn't take long to get to Leipzig either, about 15 minutes. We parked at OBI and walked the last km to the center.
It was a wonderful 4 nights.

We had been allocated a pitch in the far corner of the campsite for the weekend. Here we had peace and quiet and direct access to the cycle path. Due to the high number of visitors, the... sanitary buildings were not always spotless, but you could use everything without hesitation, certainly one building is too small for the large space, but it was improved and two sanitary containers were set up. On the site, you then have to drive down a high and steep edge to some of the caravan pitches. The rear of 99% of all caravans hit this edge and damage it. Meadow was not mowed or poorly mowed on arrival. Pitches are... uneven and tent pitches are stony in places and the staff seemed very incompetent and unmotivated to me. The sanitary facilities are new and reasonably clean but still absolutely dreadful. The showers have curtains and you have to undress in the middle of the room. There aren't even hooks to hang your clothes on, just a few benches. Which are often wet. In addition, the sanitary facilities are, in my opinion, totally undersized. There are three showers, two urinals and two cubicles for the men. The showers in the middle one have a common drain in a gutter. The leisure facilities, on the other hand, seem to be absolutely amazing. There are lots of water sports on offer and even those who just want to swim will get their money's worth in this excellent lake with its great beach. The rental properties, yurts and mobile homes, also made a very good impression. I think the resort has a lot of positive things to offer here.
