When friendliness has a name
I can't remember how many years my wife, our dog and I have been coming here to camp.

Do you know that feeling of coming home? Not just arriving somewhere, but being warmly welcomed. That's exactly how it feels here every time.

The food is a real taste explosion. The service is not just friendly, but... warm from the heart. Whether it's the cleaning staff, the service staff or the hosts - you can feel the joy of interacting with the guests everywhere.

But it's not just the campsite that inspires. The place itself is also alive. You can tell that people still talk to each other here. The bakery, the restaurants, the little shop - everything has its place and contributes to this special atmosphere.

We don't really want to recommend this insider tip, because then our favorite spot could suddenly be taken. We are deliberately a little selfish in this respect.

Thank you for the many wonderful stays. We always like to come back.

10 undisturbed days in the countryside
The manageable number of pitches, 11 in total, gave us plenty of space and room to move around. We had enough space for the caravans of our 3 fellow travelers and the 3 dogs accompanying us.
Of course, we made sure that our four-legged friends did not disturb the other guests. After all, we wanted to... repeat our stay.

The use of the waste disposal station in Eslohe on the pitch there was not an issue for us. Sure, it was a bit of a hassle, but it was limited as we did our daily shopping in Eslohe anyway - so it was on the way.

You don't have to worry about the bells ringing in the neighboring church either. Apart from the Sunday church service, the bells were barely audible.

Due to its geographical location and the many shopping opportunities in the surrounding towns and communities (factory outlets of Falke, GEFU, Schulte-Ufer, Trigema etc.), the site is definitely worth a visit.

A beautiful place
We came across this place by chance two years ago. We decided to spend our next Sauerland vacation there after a wonderful dinner in the adjoining restaurant (with the most beautiful beer garden in the Sauerland). And what can we say: we did everything right! We will be back this summer.

Everything was excellently prepared. When we arrived in the morning, the fishing licenses had already been issued. The pitch is in a great location, the sanitary facilities are very well maintained and the sauna is excellent. Mrs. Seemer and her team were very accommodating. Jan from the store opposite the guesthouse is a stroke of luck for fly fishermen, very competent and very helpful.

We arrived as a group with 8 vehicles. The site is very clean, the surface is well paved so that there are no problems even in the rain. The sanitary facilities are also very good and clean. The offer is perfect. Also the reservation to have a nice dinner was easy and the food was very good. Arrival and departure without any problems.

Unfortunately we didn't know that we couldn't use our camping plugs, you need a normal Schuko plug. Fortunately, almost everyone had an adapter with them.
Very nice place
As a camper group of women traveling alone, we felt very comfortable and thank you for the warm welcome.

Rating campsite at Gasthof Seemers in Wenholthausen
The site is located directly in a pretty little village behind a beautiful inn with a beer garden and great views of the countryside. You can easily access the wonderful cycle path system in the Hochsauerland district from the village. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. The somewhat limited sanitary... facilities are of hotel standard and are kept meticulously clean. You can and must adjust to the lack of gray and black water disposal. However, this is available close to the village. The site only has 12 pitches. Anyone looking for a pitch away from the usual larger campsites in a pretty little town in the Sauerland with good catering facilities and who also enjoys cycling in impressive natural surroundings will not be disappointed.

Weekend with Bulli
We were guests at the camping meadow for a weekend. We are completely thrilled. The site is beautiful and cozy. The sanitary facilities in the inn are clean, comfortable and accessible day and night. What we particularly liked about the inn itself was the beautiful beer garden and above all the warmth and friendliness of all the staff. Plus good food with regional products. We would love to come back!

Cozy, clean, idyllic campsite
The campsite has a friendly family atmosphere, the Seemer family was very accommodating. The view over the horse meadow was calming, as was the sound of the Wenne in the background.
Few pitches mean that you know who is there with you, you get in touch quickly.
The car stays put and you can explore countless hiking trails from the site.
The registration process was simple and uncomplicated

Quiet, idyllic spot in the "Auenland"
For all those who are looking for peace and quiet, want to go hiking and cycling and appreciate the view of the countryside. Perfect for unwinding.
There are 4 toilets, 2 showers and a dishwashing option. Water and electricity are also available. Disposal is available in Eslohe (approx. 6 min.)
We will gladly come again.

The church clock didn't bother me as I'm used to it. The shooting festival that weekend was also quieter than expected.
Starting point for bike tours
I agree with the previous reviews. A very small, family campsite, which is a great starting point for cycling - Sauerlandradring, for the small and large round. The cozy beer garden, which provides shade especially in sunny weather, rounded off the hot weekend very perfectly. I would love to come back.
