The guys were super cool and totally relaxed. They were also very helpful in finding a garage. Unfortunately we couldn't spend the night there. But we'll definitely be back and then we'll thank them again. Hicks. The location is incredibly romantic. The toilets and washrooms were spotless. I think I've praised the operators enough. We had decided to take a short trip and enquired at this site on Friday. After we were told the price, the money was transferred the same day.
When we arrived on Monday, we were told that the booking had been canceled because the money had only been booked on... Monday and the payment deadline was already Saturday.
We should have paid by real-time transfer or Paypal.
Our bank does not offer real-time bank transfer and we will not be opening a PayPal account.
Furthermore, we had already been informed of this by email.
Checking my inbox revealed that this message was actually written at 12.10 pm.
At this point, we had already traveled three hours to get there.
The conversation, if you can call it that, was very unpleasant on the part of the receptionist, as he became louder and louder, which in the end led to hysteria, almost psychotic.
Now we are waiting for our money to be refunded.
A place can't be that good to put up with this kind of behavior from the operator.

Only the church bells, which ring once every 15 minutes and rather obtrusively every morning at 7.00 am, disturb the idyll.Idyllic place surrounded by greeneryThe campsite is in a quiet location surrounded by greenery and is fairly new. The pitches are nicely laid out and large enough. The well-kept and clean sanitary facilities are also relatively new. There can be waiting times at the showers (0.50 euros/6 minutes) at peak times. The old town of Rothenburg... can be reached on foot in 20 minutes. You should bring some fitness with you for the walk, as it is mainly uphill. The campsite is an ideal starting point for visiting Rothenburg and the surrounding area. We were only there for two days as we were passing through, but we can imagine staying longer. - 4.0KAKurt A. K.huhtikuu 20244.0KAKurt A. K.huhtikuu 2024PositiivisetThe operators take suggestions on board and come up with solutions - such as the "yellow telephone" for spontaneous trips or emergencies!NegatiivisetIf the pitch is full, the showers could become scarce. However, today's motorhomes have their own showers.....A place to feel at home. The operators, two young, friendly and dedicated men, are passionate about what they do and you can tell. A lot has probably been invested in the infrastructure recently. Good-humored, unbureaucratic hosts who can be reached by phone even in night-time emergencies thanks to the yellow telephone made... the stay very pleasant.
Ordering bread rolls went smoothly. Wet areas and toilets were functional, partly new and really clean. Rothenburg is easy to reach on foot or by bike.
At the beginning I found the idea that no carpeting was allowed a bit strange. However, in retrospect, we approve of it in view of the fact that it is much more pleasant to walk on a well-maintained lawn.
Contrary to some statements in the reviews, the electricity billing is more efficient and cheaper than the usually overpriced daily flat rates.

Unfortunately, I had an accident with subsequent surgery and we had to cancel the stay. I find it very sad that the cancellation costs were immediately deducted from the deposit. The place could be used immediately without further ado terribly other guests. The cancellation happened about 2 weeks before arrival. We were also not offered the option of crediting the deposit to another stay or getting a voucher when I was healthy again. This is no way to treat guests, so I cannot recommend this campsite.Dealing with.customers in the event of cancellation due to accidentUnfortunately not recommended, despite proof that I had to have an operation after an accident, we were charged 48 euros for 3 days. It was a particular shame that we were not offered a voucher for a new stay, sad. It would have been our first short vacation at this campsite. I can't understand how cancellations... are dealt with at short notice and for a reason that really can't be postponed. Other campsites, e.g. in Italy, have dealt with cancelations in a guest-friendly way. It's sad how they deal with new guests.Käännetty automaattisesti.Vastasi Camping Tauber Idyll 11. heinäkuuta 2023Dear Susanna,

I will never visit this campsite again or even recommend it to othersKäännetty automaattisesti.Vastasi Camping Tauber Idyll 12. elokuuta 2021It is always interesting to see how many forums are used to discriminate against someone. You know very well that we spoke on the phone about 2-3 nights and on arrival we were suddenly talking about a week. It was not the groundsman (whom you insult here as arrogant) who expelled you from the site,... but you insisted, in a scolding manner, that you wanted to continue your journey in any case. In future, you would do well to be more honest on the phone, because afterwards you will have no reason to get unnecessarily upset and spread false facts and lies on the net. Criticism is one thing, but it's a completely different story if you don't stick to the truth.
We thank you for this lesson and wish you good luck in your search for a parking space in the future.
