A natural campground in a beautiful setting. Hiking trails start right from the campground. The owners are incredibly warm and always willing to help. You feel welcome right away. We especially recommend the delicious, freshly made tarte flambée.

This is a great place to relax. The owners are very, very friendly—in the afternoon, they serve coffee and cake, which were very, very delicious. If you’d like, Hanna, you can also borrow a fire pit to wind down the evening in a cozy way. We’ll definitely be back...

The owners had just taken over the campground. The shower and restroom facilities were a bit dated, but very clean. We got the impression that the owners still plan to make some renovations.
A beautiful, natural campground with wonderful owners ♥️
It rained a lot during our stay at the campground. We got stuck with our RV. The campground owners were incredibly helpful, and a farmer was able to pull us out the next day.
The campground is perfect for relaxing. Our dog was welcome, too.

Very beautifully situated campsite
The campsite is located in a small valley on the Nieme.
Very quiet and close to nature. The campsite is under new management and I was given a very friendly welcome and briefing. The bistro serves draught beer and very tasty homemade tarte flambée.
The wash house is simple but very clean

were on the site for 6 days at the end of April...very nice operators...friendly...helpful...flexible. who ; simply; wants to camp...has fun in nature and appreciates a starry sky is in good hands there...will not be the last time for me.

Camping with heart
If you're looking for glamping, you've come to the wrong place. Reopened on April 1st, every day is spent renovating, repairing, decorating...you feel at home from the very first moment. The new owners have put their hearts into making this place special. A feel-good place has already been created with... very nice pitches, a kiosk with freshly tapped beer, small snacks, romantically situated in the forest by a stream, dogs are welcome. Warm, simply beautiful, we will definitely be back. Stephan & Annette

Pure well-being
We were lucky enough to spontaneously get a place over Easter shortly after the reopening. We were immediately impressed by the idyllic location in the Bachtal valley and the super friendly crew. Beautiful pitches and clean, well-functioning sanitary facilities. The kiosk serves bread rolls in the morning... and coffee, cake, freshly tapped beer and tarte flambée during the day. Direct access to great hiking trails. Work was carried out from morning to night on the corners that still needed to be repaired after the takeover. We immediately felt at home. Camping in the best, original sense - without frills but to relax and with lovely people! We would love to come back!

Acceptable for one night in transit. Quiet and nice site management. Sanitary facilities quite old. Surroundings appear unkempt (not mopped, dried plants, dog excrement on the footpath). Only cash payment possible, which is a bit out of date.

Very nice operators
We had a very pleasant stay during the Christmas period and a very dedicated and friendly campsite operator. The bistro was lovingly decorated and furnished and the stove warmed us up.
Very good starting point for excursions to Göttingen or Hann. Münden.

Small site, very nice and green, very friendly hosts. Large pitches. Many hiking trails, but also cycle routes directly from the site.

You can only pay in cash. This was not pointed out to us when we made the reservation and checked in.
A great week, even with corona rules
The campsite is run in a very informal way by a Dutch couple. Will is always on hand with help and advice when needed. Everything you need for a pleasant stay is there. Shopping facilities 6 km away (Dransfeld). In the morning there were always fresh bread rolls to order.
The pitches are relatively large,... partly separated by hedges. There are pitches with and without shade.
We were there with a motorhome and got a pitch on the main pitch (next to the service building) in the low season. In the high season, the camper vans are a little further away.

Very nice welcome, the site operators are very helpful and create a family atmosphere. It is very quiet on the pitch and you can slow down.

Child-friendly campsite
Small, simple CP. Ideal for families with children. A large "fleet" of different vehicles is available to the children free of charge. You can also eat there. The site's own burgers are very tasty. Not far from Göttingen, easily accessible even by bike.

Beautifully maintained natural campsite
You immediately feel welcome here, as you are greeted with a coffee, cappuccino or cold drink. The owner couple take care of the site and their guests with great attention to detail.
Children are very welcome here, as are dogs.
The small natural campsite impresses with its simplicity, here you can switch... off and forget all your worries for a moment. A small stream runs through the middle of the campsite, which is ideal for children to play in. A trampoline, several different vehicles and a small playground are also available to the children free of charge.
The toilets and showers are unisex, simple, clean and sufficient.
The pilgrims' path runs directly alongside the campsite and is easy to walk along.
We liked it very much and look forward to coming back again.

Friendly operators, tranquillity, nature
Very friendly operator couple, you immediately feel welcome and a coffee is served to welcome you.
We felt at home here from the very first minute.
The campsite is idyllically situated in the beautiful Niemetal, for us as hikers a great starting point for beautiful tours in the Lower Saxony - Hessian... border area.
The sanitary facilities were cleaned every day and were completely adequate for us. No fancy campsite and if you are looking for peace, relaxation or beautiful nature, this is the place for you.
We will definitely be back.

Nature campsite with lots of peace and quiet, very committed operators
Beautiful small campsite, quietly situated in the forest by a stream that flows through the campsite. The pitches are very close to nature, partly sunny or shady by the stream or forest and partly in small hollows so that you have peace and quiet almost everywhere. With a dog or for hiking or cycling,... you can be on your way quickly directly from the site. Hiking trails lead past the site. The operators are very nice and committed and work with great attention to detail so that all campers feel comfortable. There is a welcome coffee on arrival. In general, everything is very relaxed, uncomplicated and laid-back. There are lots of play opportunities for children in the adjacent forest or stream, as well as vehicles, a trampoline and a small playground. Due to the location in the forest and by the stream, it is very close to nature and quiet, but there is also no good internet and cell phone reception. The sanitary facilities are unisex for everyone, simple but OK. In the immediate vicinity there are beautiful cycle paths along the Weser, Sababurg Zoo, Parrot Park in Herstelle, Bad Karlshafen with Skywalk, excursion boats on the Weser, primeval forest near Sababurg, towns such as Hann. Münden, Göttingen. The small restaurants offer a fine selection of dishes. The Niemetalburger is highly recommended. Although the site is simple, its location, tranquillity and friendly operators are impressive.

Great place, quiet location
Beautifully separated pitches, shady and sunny spots, stream right next to the campsite, you can bring your car to the tent/caravan. The operators are Dutch and very friendly and helpful. You can buy almost nothing on site, but bread rolls for breakfast are available. There is a lot to see within a radius... of 20 km. Dogs are welcome, there is no entertainment for children. No binge drinking and no late-night rowdiness like I unfortunately had to experience.

Campsite with a heart
We were there for the first time, the operators have only taken over the place since the beginning of the year. The de Roon couple constantly strive to fulfill their guests' every wish to the best of their ability. The place is clean and well-kept and, in our estimation, will certainly gain a lot more.... The food is very good, only the menu could be a bit bigger, but perhaps it will expand on its own as the number of guests increases. The sanitary facilities are very clean. The campsite has one or two areas that still need some work, but that will happen, the operators can only work, which is what they do all day. Dogs are very welcome. The operators are extremely cordial and attach great importance to feedback. Thank you for letting us get to know you.
