A lot of things: from the lack of maintenance in the areas between the bungalows, the general lack of greenery, to the tiny children’s play area that’s completely exposed to the sun. No activities—that's too bad. There's no bocce court.

Really friendly welcome... wrong spot on the 13th... as mentioned before we set up... very poorly located... right in the middle of a walkway... PLAYGROUND... Pure hell from the very first afternoon...Supposedly only teens, no kids... according to your staff! ... but there were teens playing soccer like crazy in that area... it was unbearable, so we had a problem with their parents... it almost got out of hand! In short, I’m very unhappy that my concerns weren’t addressed, and I’m still waiting to be moved to another mobile home… So we’re not at all satisfied… Too bad.

Close to the ocean

Noise from residents and traffic until around 2 a.m. 27 mosquitoes killed throughout the first night despite the windows being closed I couldn't sleep The staff were friendly upon arrival, but we were asked to check out between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. on the day of departure, and there was no one at the front desk to return the keys—we had to wait for the golf cart to pass by.

We had a pleasant stay at this campground during the April break. The location was ideal, close to the sea. The staff was very accommodating and welcoming.

The campground is in a great location for exploring the southern part of the country, and the front desk staff offer helpful advice.

The mobile home, the smell

Honestly, not muchmuch to say except for the great welcome. Other than that, my accommodation was dirty—I found hair and crumbs under the bed left by the previous guests. Considering the place was rented out on Tuesday and we arrived on Saturday—meaning that in four days, no one had cleaned it——supposedly, the manager had cleaned it. Our campsite was infested with mosquitoes, too close to the road, not enough outlets in the bungalows, no pool—a lie. No compensation from them, not even an offer to let us stay two more days in a clean unit. A lack of professionalism.

When guests have had a bad stay and the cleanliness of the propertyup to the standard shown in the photos—which were taken under normal conditions—the manager or director should call us back and offer us two days in a clean unit, since we paid for two days in a unit that didn’t suit us at all, or at least a discount on our next reservation. I think thisa lack of professionalism. I think that when owners rent out their properties, they don’t spend half a day cleaning them just for the campground’s manager and his wife.

Proximity to points of interest

The campground is run-down. There are a lot of mobile homes, crammed pretty close together. We spend our time outdoors—there’s nothing to do at the campground.

I liked the peaceful atmosphere, the warm welcome, the parking, and how helpful the staff was.

Less nighttime lighting: I was bothered by a light mounted on the wall of the mobile home that turned on automatically and stayed on all night.

A campground that was just what I was looking for.

What a disappointment. My mobile home was infested with bed bugs. I reported the problem when I checked out because it took me a while to realize what those bites were... The staff was sympathetic; I just hope they’ll take the necessary steps. At the very least, I’m waiting for a response from Tikayan.
