It's a 30-minute drive to Ljubljana and you can park at Tivoli 2 for 0.80 euros an hour.
Kamnik is a small town with everything you need for shopping in the outer districts.
The site is very... well laid out. I found the sanitary concept very good, clean and inviting.

The new showers are great, but only in summer temperatures as they are open. The old showers and toilets are no longer in the latest style, but are well maintained. The train station is about 10 minutes' walk from... the campsite. From there, there is an hourly train to Ljubljana. This costs just under €11 for two people there and back. The free parking lot for the cable car up to Velika Planina is about 15 minutes away. Both tours are highly recommended. Rather too small for the amount of people. Very friendly registration. Next door is a swimming pool, tennis, basketball and beach volleyball court (not part of the site). Train station is 10 minutes away and takes you... to Ljubljana in 45 minutes (2 adults / 2 children approx. 11 euros there and back). Easy hiking possibilities nearby.
