Sleeping beauty spot with dream pool
If you're looking for simple campsites in the middle of nothing but the original Greece, this is the place for you! Whether the reception is open is a matter of luck - you simply look for a free pitch (there are plenty of them, although the site is quite small) and check in at some point. The pitches... are mostly shady and large enough. As the campsite is so sparsely occupied, parking next to the tent was no problem. The only constantly "busy" place is the pool with a good pool bar, which is open from 9:00 - 21:00. We often had the gigantic pool almost to ourselves. There are free sun loungers and service. Contrary to previous reviews, the handful of Greeks who spend a few hours there are not noisy at all. There is a very basic toilet near the pool and larger sanis near reception. Everything is very very basic but still immaculately clean. The mini market and restaurant were deserted barracks, but you can get everything you need in the nearby village. The coast is unsuitable for swimming, but offers exciting climbing for children and beautiful sunsets. The atmospheric Ochsenbauchbucht is just around the corner by car. There are two trusting kittens, millions of cicadas and otherwise pure tranquillity. You'll have to be able to overlook a few grubby spots - then this place is paradise on earth!

We have often driven past this place. This year we finally managed to make a stop. As we are looking for peace and quiet and like to have easy access to the sea, we were definitely in the wrong place here. The pool bar, pool and leisure facilities such as basketball or volleyball are recommended. Marathopoli, which is easy to reach on foot, with its nice restaurants was definitely worth the stop.

Beautiful place with pool
Small campsite right by the sea but access to the water only via a ladder. Very nice for snorkeling - lots of sea urchins! Pool area older but very nice and well maintained. - Pool bar with snacks but no restaurant on site. 10 minutes across the beach to Marathopoli - lots of tavernas and two stores. Only a few minutes by bike or car to the beautiful sandy beach of Lagkouvardos.

Decent, better for a short stop
We spent here a couple of weeks in a tent with our family and other friends. Pitches are well defined with good enough shadow, though mainly by artificial nets. There are wide spaces with no shadow at all for larger campers. The pool is very big and it attracts Greeks people to come from out of the camp,... which is quite noisy up to late night. The coast is rocky, with only one point to access the sea for swimming. Beaches are available only by car. The main house for sanitary is not very big so sometime you had to wait in line. Accetably clean. There is a second toilet, but only for emergency case. Going around we saw other campsite in the region that looked higher quality and better location. Fortunately the staff was very kind and helpful.

The campsite has a swimming pool disproportionate to the overall structure that could be on the whole improved both in the groups hygienic services conform to the normality of Greek camping or dilapidated and not exactly clean. The entrance as well as the pitches are not suitable for large vehicles >3.60mt... but the owner manages to make up for the shortcomings by showing kindness and maximum availability so as to allow you to stop in the .. garden of the pool! Potentially the whole structure as well as the surroundings (Maratopolis) can improve the reception of tourists
