Hello, the campground is indeed very wooded, ideal for staying cool and in the shade, but it also has sites that are more exposed to the sun and have good TV reception. Since the high season is over, the campground is indeed very quiet—the perfect choice for those seeking peace, nature, and the sound... of running water, all at very affordable rates. We were able to accommodate you on a riverside++ site, even though you had booked a standard site—and at no extra charge. The pool, bar, and snack bar were also available, of course.

The campsite we had was huge and shaded. The river is beautiful. So is the surrounding area.

Make sure you don’t get assigned a campsite near the playground. There’s no parental supervision, and the kids scream on the trampoline all day long. The owner wants to enforce the rules, but the noise problem keeps coming back every day. The restroom facilities are kept clean, but the campers themselves treat them poorly. The campsites are so large, and there’s no limit on the number of people per site, so entire groups end up staying on a single site. Although it didn’t bother us personally, this creates a different kind of dynamic at the campground.

We stayed at a campsite. There are spacious restroom facilities that are cleaned several times a day. The sites are shaded. The campground is right on the river, so we hardly used the on-site pool. There’s entertainment for all ages. A small-scale campground that’s highly recommended.

Beautiful campsite on the Tarn
Beautiful campsite directly on the Tarn. Parceled out pitches with a grass base, hedges and plenty of shade as well as electricity connections. Unfortunately no hot water for showers in the low season.
