Very beautiful island
The island is beautiful. The island tour and definitely the path to the puffins are recommended, but you can skip the lighthouse. The campsite fills up quickly and unfortunately there is only one shower and toilet for about 50 vehicles. This is completely unacceptable and has probably not been changed for years as there is a lack of competition. It's a real shame.

The infrastructure of the campsite is getting on in years.
"special" campsite
As has already been written several times, this campsite is particularly interesting for those who come here for the nature and especially the seabirds. Yes, it's true. There are better equipped and better maintained campsites. But at no other campsite that I know of will the nature-interested guest... be able to gather so many magnificent impressions in such a short time. As this was our second time as guests, I cannot confirm the repeatedly reported unfriendliness of the operator. We were always willingly given information and the like - probably because I share Knut's enthusiasm for birds. We will definitely be back.
