The place is very clean, including the sanitary facilities. The staff is super friendly and the area is beautiful. The lake is great for swimming!

The children's program is provided by a missionary church that uses an openly brutal and regressive choice of words. You feel like you've been brainwashed and that as an adult, I wouldn't let my children go there! Hot water only works with a coin system, which leads to wasting water! There is no direct electricity connection on the pitch and no water for everyone. Unfortunately there are only two wash houses, so you have to walk a long way!

Campers can use the swimming pool at the dam free of charge. Very clean. The new landlords are very friendly and helpful

There is nothing really negative

Beautiful location on a quiet, small reservoir with lots of shady trees. From here you can go hiking and cycling.

The pitches are very sloping, difficult even with chocks. The path to the sanitary buildings is too far away.

Host, food, surroundings around Hessian Westerwald

Sanitary 1 could be renewed

The friendly atmosphere on the campsite, even as a guest camper

no pitches only 1 outdated sanitary building for the entire site, including day bathers Pitches completely uneven

My grandparents already had their car there, I was there for the first time when I was 4 weeks old and grew up there. Now I'm 40 years old and have my own car there with my mother. No matter what the weather is like, you drive through the barrier and you're home. Here's to the next 40 years at the Ulmbach dam 🥰🌲🚗

I have to think hard to list the disadvantages... but I can't think of any 🤷🏽‍♀️

Familiar, idyllic, embedded in a beautiful landscape, great bathing lake with sandy beach

No possibility of traveling without a car

Beautiful wooded area, many hiking trails, very quiet location !!! Well-kept condition of the entire site. Shopping facilities nearby. Good pizzeria directly at the campsite.

Another sanitary building, e.g. near the campsite/day vacation guests, would be a relief for the permanent campers, as "guests" are mainly responsible for the sanitary facilities being dirty. (Which became clear when only permanent campers had access... At that time everything was great!) Snack bar, classic, would be great 😁 French fries, sausage, meatballs, schnitzel rolls ... Small treats for in between... (especially on the beach, which is partly used as an outdoor pool)

- Close to the water if you want

- Many noisy groups of campers - Lots of dogs barking more or less uncontrollably all over the site - Simple sanitary facilities - So-so motivated staff

Cleanliness, sanitary facilities very clean, nature, well suited for hiking and cycling, good restoration. Peace and quiet, price/performance
