Ventajas
-Central location near Dubrovnik, -good bus service -large campsites, many with shade
Desventajas
A very uninviting, poorly maintained, characterless campground.
One-Day Campground
The Cp is only recommended for a day trip
to Dubrovnik.

Unfortunately, we had booked two nights—we would have loved to leave after the first one!

quiet, bus every 20 min. to old Dubrovnik, beach at campsite
Desventajas
I can't see any negative points, it's a plus but nobody's to blame :-)
Ideally located, quiet
Ideally located for a visit to Dubrovnik and as a departure point for the nearby islands. The staff at reception are very friendly, smiling and give you all the information you need (you can charge your mobile phone as much as you like), you choose your pitch, and the sanitary facilities are clean and in sufficient quantity. Very quiet campsite we really appreciated, the rules are enforced and people don't make noise at night.

the closest to the historic center (20-minute bus-ticket to be purchased on board from the driver in cash)

distributed in the middle of a neighborhood. It was probably an organized facility with activities. Currently all dead. Coffee is taken from a machine at the reception desk. Very expensive.
strange camping
I slept one night and accepted the price (double the average) just for the convenience of getting to the center. Toilet facilities good, but nothing more.

We found the campsite to be above average: Very clean, toilet paper, soap and paper towels everywhere. In addition to spacious pitches separated by bushes, there are also very secluded and hidden pitches at comparatively good prices. I have been traveling in a camper van for 50 years and can only say that anyone who complains here should change their choice of accommodation and switch to a hotel with childcare facilities!
Desventajas
Yes, the paths to the "sanitary station" are a little longer, but it doesn't get much better than this, and there are even hairdryers in the sanitary area in addition to all the achievements of modernity. Even the legendary BP mocamps in Turkey didn't have that decades ago! And the "moaning about the restaurant prices is now completely out of place: restaurants in Dubrovnik are an absolute rip-off and not worth the money and the prices of the camping restaurant are rather moderate in comparison!
It's the standards!
The course can be recommended without reservation: above average in offer and performance.

Friendliness, proximity to bus connections

A little outdated
Perfect for sightseeing Dubrovnik
Getting there for caravans is no problem. We received a very friendly welcome and the camp and the bus connection to the city were explained to us in detail! The camp is certainly getting on in years and is constantly coming and going. However, the cleanliness never suffered during our stay! We would use Camp Solitudo again!

Price-performance ratio does not fit at all!
Dirty and overpriced
This campsite is not recommended. It looks neglected and is absolutely unkempt. Neither the showers nor the toilets were even once reasonably clean. In addition, there are only sanitary facilities at the entrance, you have to drag the chemical toilet up the stairs or take a longer detour. This is the worst campsite I have ever been to, only the location is good.

Location to the city center (bus 15 min., tickets at reception)
Desventajas
Cleanliness of sanitary facilities
Good location but very little cleanliness
The campsite itself is in a good location and has good-sized pitches. There is a good restaurant next door, where you are served in a very friendly, courteous manner and, above all, with good food. What is worth mentioning for the campsite are the sanitary facilities. Unfortunately in a negative sense...!... I've been to 5 different campsites in Croatia in the last week and this is by far the dirtiest. In principle, the sanitary facilities would not be bad, but they would simply have to be cleaned thoroughly and then kept in good condition by motivated cleaning staff. No matter what time of day it is, the floor is always dirty, there are old stains on the toilet and shower walls that are not removed and the toilets are cleaned even less than superficially. The hairdryer provided for the general public is covered in dirt and sand from the last few WEEKS! It is also by far the most expensive campsite in recent times (just under 400 KN per night with camper). Unfortunately, you don't have much choice of campsites in Dubrovnik...!

mesni kamp

The wash houses
Super campsite for sightseeing
Large, pleasant campsite. We arrived at the campsite at midnight and were allowed to choose a pitch. We were not charged for this night. The site itself is large and spacious. There are two wash houses. However, they are getting on in years. Something should be done about the cleanliness of the wash... houses, sometimes under dog. Small supermarket in front of the place where you can get the most necessary things. The place is also not exactly cheap. But the absolute hotspot when it comes to visiting Dubrovnik. It feels like a 5-minute bus ride from the square to the old town. Tickets are available at reception. Top.

Sanitary facilities
Typical city campsite
At the end of July 2019, a little-visited city campsite with individual strengths. Small supermarket directly on site also open in the evening. Leisure facilities of the hotel 200m away can also be used, sensational pool! The restaurant about 200m away is not particularly beautiful but delivered excellent... quality. Price was reasonable for the quality. The pitch was OK, sanitary facilities too few and not clean. We used the hotel's clean toilets as a workaround.

Large square, ideal for a tour of the old town
Fairly large campsite on a hill. Separated into two parts by a road. The pitches are divided up and quite large in places. There are two sanitary buildings, which were always clean in the low season. The campsite's own restaurant is located outside the site, two supermarkets are a few hundred meters... away. The bus connection to the old town is great, without changing buses to the final stop. Tickets are available at reception. Although discount cards are not recognized, I received a five percent discount on the ACSI.

Close to the city, quiet, large pitches, clean sanitary facilities, friendly staff
Desventajas
Perhaps too few sanitary facilities when the site is full.
Great starting point for visiting Dubrovnik
After some initial skepticism, we ventured onto the campsite and are completely satisfied. Surprisingly green and quiet for a city campsite. There are only a few sanitary facilities, but they are clean and equipped with everything (toilet paper, paper towels and hairdryers). The pitches are large and... some have great views of the sea and mountains. The bus (12 knots) takes you to the city in no time and you can be overwhelmed by the impressions there.

Close to the old town. Small (pebble) beach for cooling off after a hot day
Desventajas
No shopping facilities within walking distance. Too few showers & toilets in the main holiday season. Expensive
Highly recommended place to explore Dubrovnik
Due to the many negative reviews, I had already looked for a site 11 km outside Dubrovnik on camping.info. Luckily for us, we talked to a couple from Ludwigslust in northern Albania about our further plans. They recommended this site in Dubrovnik. We didn't regret it, I don't understand all those negative... reviews! Yes, the sanitary facilities are a 5 minute walk away if you stand in the area with the (beautiful) view of the sea and mountains. Yes, the pitch is expensive. But I know that beforehand. After all, I am a guest in a city that is second to none. Yes, there are no restaurants or shops on the site. The restaurant is a 10-minute walk away and there are no shopping facilities within walking distance. And that is the only point of criticism I can share. I can't understand any of the other points of criticism! Arrival: Easy to reach, quietly located without through traffic on the Babin Kuk headland. Ample parking in front of the reception/registration area to register and choose "your" pitch in peace. Accessibility of the pitches: The pitches in area D (where the pitches are in the first row with a view) are also easy to reach for caravanners. Sanitary facilities: Clean, modern (why run-down and outdated, as one guest wrote?) with soap, toilet paper and paper towels. Had hot water every morning with sufficient water pressure Pitches: Sufficiently large (not squashed, I don't like that at all), a bit uneven, but we didn't have to use a wedge. Electricity and water supply just about adequate. 10 meter standard connection line might not be enough for some pitches, extension necessary. Leisure: Great place to explore Dubrovnik. Bus (bus stop 15 minutes' walk away) runs until 01:00 at night. Attention, no card payment or euros possible for the bus ticket. Kuna only! Tip: Be sure to visit the old town once late in the evening from 21:00. Then the many cruise tourists are back on the ship, the whole old town is illuminated and you can explore the old alleyways and large squares in peace. The city wall is only open until 18:00, you have to "hike" it during the day...) After a strenuous and hot day, the small beach is waiting for you to enjoy a refreshing dip in the clean water. There is also a small beach bar down there (also about 15 minutes' walk). For my wife and I, this is a wonderful city campsite that we would visit again and again. A top recommendation from me, except perhaps in the main holiday season. I'm glad I chose this campsite after all.

Sanitary partly far away, functional, relatively expensive for what it offers
Okay as a stopover
Unfortunately the only place in Dubrovnik. You can choose your pitches, which is good. There are four pitches, two above the road and two below. Some of the lower ones have a limited sea view. Fence and or trees in front. We were in part D. First row to the sea. Unfortunately you could see more of the... access road to the bridge than of the sea. Beach is further away and not so clean and quite crowded. The rear part - probably fee - is already considerably better

Everything is old and run-down
Poor condition
Unfortunately, the information on the website does not correspond to the facts. The supermarket is closed but is still advertised on the website, there is no restaurant on the site either, and I could go on like this. I'm not a notorious complainer, I'm happy with very little, but if I order a Ferrari I don't want a Fiat Panda delivered either.

-poor signposting of the approach -no food supply at the campsite -no restaurant at the campsite
Ideal campsite for visiting Dubrovnik
Large campsite on the side of a road leading to the sea with bathing area (approx. 500m from the campsite). Directions to the campsite poorly signposted. No store on site, only shuttle bus from the campsite to a store until 10am. Unfortunately no restaurant or snack bar at the campsite, nearest barbecue... restaurant "Solitudo" is 400m from the campsite and not recommended. Sanitary facilities are basic but clean. Tickets for the bus to the old town of Dubrovnik are available at the reception, the bus stop is about 600m from the campsite. The use of the bus is highly recommended, as there are few parking spaces near the old town and the bus goes directly to the entrance to the old town at the city wall. The cable car up the Srd mountain can also be reached from there.
