A very nice, well-kept campsite in a beautiful location.

The pricing policy doesn't work at all! On June 9, 2025, I looked up prices on the site's homepage: Price for a category B pitch for caravan and 2 adults: €41 including everything per day from June 10-12. We went there without a reservation on June 10. When I registered, I was then quoted a price of €47. When I asked about the difference, I was told: "We had 40 arrivals today without a reservation. So we had to put the prices up." I have never experienced anything like this in over e0 years of camping with a caravan. This campsite won't be seeing me again. What a shame, really...

We spent a few days in one of the big North Sea waves. The toilet facilities were very clean, the place seems very well maintained. The location is not bad for excursions or spending time on the beach.

The equipment and the accommodation is a bit outdated. WC seat, pots and pans and also the mattresses could be replaced...... There are also no fly screens on the windows.

The campsite and the sanitary facilities are very clean and there are plenty of them. The rooms are spacious and in May it was not overcrowded. The supermarket has a good range at fair prices and you can buy almost everything. The fish trolley from Tuesday to Thursday is also good. The water and waste water connection directly at the pitch is very practical, which is very good for us as I cook myself. It is also very good that the entry and exit barrier has license plate recognition. So you don't need a chip and can drive in and out without any problems.

Everything was actually fine. What I missed was a fenced-in dog meadow where dogs could run free. It's quite a long way to the dog beach and I think it's far too big, so it's easy to lose track of how many dogs are running free. My dog didn't like it at all and I would prefer it if there was a fenced-in area on the campsite,

WLAN most likely only available to a very limited extent and very slowly between 20:00 and 22:00 when demand is high.

bad reception, i have never found anything so unfriendly on a campsite. example, a reserved pitch was not given was not given, although it was not occupied time of my stay was not occupied. unfortunately, the north sea camp lacks a competitor .... dog admission ...., then the world would look very different for the site.

When we made our booking almost a year ago, we had requested a seat. On arrival, we were initially allocated a seat in a different corner. An employee contacted us promptly and assigned us the seat next to the one we had requested. The reason why we could not get our desired seat is not clear to me. This is a great pity because we had booked very early. We were very annoyed about this.

The absolute cleanliness must be emphasized. Everyone was very friendly and the supermarket was well stocked. Everything was quiet at night. There were garbage cans on every corner, so nobody had to walk far.

The site is very well maintained. Pitches and supply and disposal good. This was not our last time here.

W-Lan and cell phone reception very weak. The site is a long way from the beach (approx. 1.7 km). Nevertheless, the use of the "North Sea Express" is subject to a charge. 1 stop 2 €. In other places (e.g. Büsum) this service is included in the tourist tax. The nearest public transport stop is 2 km away.

Friendly welcome, large and well-kept space

We would have liked to have extended our departure by 2-3 hours to enjoy the beautiful weather a little longer. Unfortunately, the place was very immobile, although it was not occupied. This was the information from our neighbor who stayed a day longer.

Pitches with dogs are located directly on the road and are therefore noisy, early departure does not reduce the price (so if you have to leave earlier than planned for scheduling reasons, you will still be charged the full price). The site doesn't really need that, does it? Annoying if you have booked 2 weeks and unfortunately have to leave after 1 week.

The town center can be reached quickly from the square. About 10 minutes by bike. Located directly on the dyke. You have everything you need on site. Dogs are welcome.

The washing machines were controlled via an app. When we asked at reception, we were told that they can also be started using a debit card. This was not immediately apparent.
