"Location, location, location! - What a fantastic campsite. At the end of the valley (20km south of Olden) the drive is challenging at times but it's definitely worth it. Located between the glacier and the waterfall it is not absolutely silent - but spectacular. Walk up to the glacier lake and enjoy the sauna upon return - it's included in the not-too-expensive camping fee.

"liebevoll gestalteter Campingplatz in schönster Natur - Wir waren im Sommer 3 Wochen in Norwegen unterwegs und können rückblickend sagen, dass Melkevoll Bretun der mit Abstand schönste Campingplatz war. Wunderschön gemacht mit ganz viel Liebe zum Detail, z.B. Yogaraum um einen Felsen gebaut, Gemeineschaftshütte mit Feuerstelle, freie Saunanutzung jeden Abend mit Gletscherbach, Boulderfelsen direkt aufm Platz. Und das inmitten schönster Natur mit Blick auf Gletscher und Wasserfall - what a place to be!

"Ruhe sanft - Unser Stellplatz war in der Nähe eines wunderschönen Wasserfalls. Überall auf dem CP hört man das Rauschen des Wassers. Die sanitären Anlagen waren sehr gepflegt. Der Platz weitläufig. Guter Ausgangspunkt für eine Wanderung zum Briksdalsbreen.

"Super Campingplatz ! - Ein sehr schöner Campingplatz, der sein Geld wert ist! Schöne Lage in der man sowohl Entspannen als auch Wandern kann. Sehr viel Natur. Sehr saubere Sanitäre Anlagen und ein sehr gepflegter Campingplatz. Abends kann man auf Nachfrage auch in die Sauna. Man kann Brötchen und Brot vorbestellen und einen kleinen Bedarf an Lebensmitteln kann man bei der Rezeption käuflich erwerben. Zum Briksdalbreen sibd es ca. 45 Min. Wanderung.
