"Mr - Please refer to my comments above. One of the most helpful and friendly campsite owners (Matthijs) ever! Matthijs speaks excellent Polish, Dutch (he was born in the Netherlands), English and German and even some French! The food in the restaurant is very good, large portions on your plate and most reasonable prices. The pitches are among the largest I’ve ever encountered and kept very clean. The campsite and its surroundings are very quiet, which we like very much. The campsite is in the middle of a very rural area with a nearby (5km) town with ample shops. Matthijs has made a sizeable (42 pages) brochure, each in several languages with many color pictures, extensively describing all interesting places in the area. Never before have I seen such a complete booklet written by the campsite owner!!! I have camped on sites on several continents, and this site most certainly ranks among the top ten! In short, do yourselves a favor and spend some time on this campsite!

"Super Platz, sehr zu empfehlen - Toller Campingplatz mit nettem deutschsprachigem Platzbetreiber. Das Restaurant ist sehr zu empfehlen. Die sanitären Einrichtungen waren stets sauber. In ca 2 km gibt es eine Eisdiele und einen kleinen Lebensmittelladen mit Bäckerei. Die nächste größere Stadt ist auch nur 5 km entfernt.

"Schöner ruhiger Platz - Sehr schöner Campingplatz mit schönem Badeteich. Es gibt auch Tretboote die man kostenlos nutzen kann, Restaurant ist auch gut. Hier kann man sich auch Brötchen für das Frühstück holen. Schöne Plätze und es gibt auch einen kleinen Aussichtsturm.

"Nooit weer!!! - Mooie camping maar er is blijkbaar maar 1 de baas... de vrouw van de eigenaar? Ontvangst heel beroerd en we konden beter maar weggaan volgens de eigenaaresse die geen woord Nederlands wenst te spreken. Dus kent u geen Pools of Engels......heb je een probleem als Mathijs er niet is. Voor mensen met tieners....... is er niks te doen voor hun, dus niet gaan! Geen amusement. Lekker eten kan men er wel en dat is het enige positieve. Klant is hier geen koning, men heeft meer interesse in bruiloften of partijen in het (mooie) luxe restaurant. Plaatsen zijn goed, maar toiletten in het noodgebouwtje worden zomaar afgesloten bij slecht weer en moet men 250 meter lopen naar de ingang voor de andere toiletten en douches. Toiletten en douches absoluut onvoldoene schoon, geen of te weinig privacy en in het hoofd toiletten-douches gebouw zitten de vogels boven je te poepen. Ook absoluut onvoldoende naar Nederlandse maatstafen. Gelet op de ontvangst van de eigenaresse en diens houding daarna, komen wij nooit meer terug en besteden liever ons geld aan een ander. Jammer voor Mathijs dat hij geen "gastvrouw"" heeft. Voor enig vermaak moet je hier niet zijn. geen kantine, geen Tv etc. Wij hebben heel wat Poolse en Ned.-Poolse campings bezocht die er minder uitzagen, maar in ieder geval voelt men zich daar thuis. Wij komen hier nooit meer terug!!! Fam. De Koning p.s. Waarom bijna iedereen zulke hoge cijfers geven aan deze camping...die mensen zijn niet opjectief en vast vrienden en/of familie.

"Etwas abseits gelegener Platz. Besitzer sehr freundlich! - Es ist ein großer Platz. wer seinen Stellplatz weiter hinten hat, hat einen langen Weg zum Sanitärgebäude. Zum Platz gehört ein kleiner See mit Bademöglichkeit. Schöner Standort für Ausflüge nach Breslau und in das Eulengebirge. Gut auch für Entspannung.

Profile

Beautifully situated in the southwest part of Poland, in between two nature reserves, lies this unique campsite with a private little lake with unforgettable views of the countryside and villages. The campsite (dutch/polish owners) has 90 spacious campsite pitches with …all a unique view. The campsite consists of a large playground, table tennis, a restaurant which also is being used as a rec-room and new sanitary facilities renovated in 2023. All this is situated on 8 acres of camping field, grassy meadows around the lake. The whole of the terrain is fenced. The little lake is very suitable for swimming and playing. It has deep and undeep parts so it's also suitable for little childern. We also have peddleboats avaiblable to rent. Besides all the facilities on the campsite the surrounding region offers a great number of attractions and activities. From the campsite we offer several beautiful biking and hiking trails. The historical towns closeby offer you a good impression of the local history and way of life. Castles, churches, monastries, fortresses, shopping but also rafting, survivaling, hiking, biking; it's all possible on a small distance from the campsite. So if you are looking for a beautifully situated campsite with spacious pitches, a beautiful view, ideal for children, water to swim in, great facilities, good food and all in unique surroundings than you have found what you were looking for at Camping Forteca

Camping Forteca is situated in the southwest of Poland. Driving from Germany you can cross the border either next to Cottbus or Gorlitz. You constantly drive into the direction of Wroclaw. When you arrive in Wroclaw you take the exit …to 'Kudowa Slone' This road is the main road to Czech Republic, the E67. After about 35km you arrive in the town of Lagiewniki. At the trafic ligths you turn right in the direction of Dzierzoniow. Four km before Dzierzoniow you will see the sign Uciechow. Here on your lefthand you see our campsite about 300 meters from the road. You can recognize the campsite by it's wooden gate with the European and Polish flags.
