"Warum nur diese alten Santäranlagen? - Der riesige Platz macht von der Rezeption über den Pool Bereich einen sehr guten Eindruck. Daher ist es sehr verwunderlich, dass nicht in neue Sanitäranlagen investiert wird. Die Infrastruktur ist alt und teilweise kaputt. Es wird viel geputzt, jedoch macht der ganze Sanitärbereich einen schlechten Eindruck.

""Strandbad" - Waren in der Vorsaison für 4 Nächte da. Strand mit dem Fahrrad locker erreichbar. Schwimmen bei der Brandung schwierig. Surfen top. Große Düne mit normalen Fahrrad noch erreichbar (fast 30 km) Arachon zu weit. Camping total voller Mobilhomes und Mietlodges. Am Wochendene Nachts nicht ruhig. Jugendgruppen in den Mobilhomes. Militär immer wieder mal hörbar aber nicht richtig störend. Ort mit Unterhaltung auch für kleine Kinder fußläufig zu erreichen.

"Sehr groß, Stellplätze für Wohnwagen klein, - Wir waren Anfang Juli 2017 für zwei Wochen dort. Der Platz ist riesig, die Stellplätze bei voller Belegung dicht aufeinander. Voll wird es aber wohl erst ab Ende Juli. Sanitär OK und sauber, allerdings gibt es weder Toilettenpapier geschweige denn Handwaschbecken bei den Toiletten! In unmittelbarer Nähe ist ein Militärgelände und als wir dort waren gab es immer mal wieder Lärmbelästigung durch Hubschrauber, Schießübungen und Düsenjets :-(. In der Hauptsaison ab Ende Juli soll das nicht mehr so sein (hat man uns gesagt). Positiv ist die Ruhe in der Nacht. Darauf wird großen Wert gelegt. Wir hatten Probleme mit lauten Jugendlichen. Das Problem wurde seitens des Campingplatzes umgehend behoben :-). Der Strand ist mit dem Fahrrad in fünf Minuten zu erreichen. Er ist endlos lang, sehr sauber und wunderschön. In der Umgebung gibt es schöne Radwege. Wer auf halli galli und Kirmesatmosphäre steht findet in Biscarosse Plage genau das. Die Geschäfte haben zum Teil bis in die Nacht geöffnet und es gibt von Klamotten bis frischen Fisch alles. Alles ist zu Fuß erreichbar.

Directions

By car : From Bordeaux, go in the direction of Bayonne on the A63 motorway then the A66 towards “Bassin d’Arcachon”, “Dune du Pyla” and Biscarrosse. Take the exit marked Biscarrosse as far as Mios then the D216 towards Sanguinet …and Biscarrosse. In Biscarrosse, take the right turning off the second roundabout, towards "la Plage". The campsite is situated on the way into Biscarrosse Plage. By train : Arcachon 30 km, Ychoux 40 km. By plane : Bordeaux 80 km
