"Direkt am Meer - Wer nachts das Meer rauschen hören möchte, ist hier richtig. Plätze im Schatten und direkt an der Düne sind möglich, in der Vorsaison. Am Meer gibt es Sand. Stellplätze mit englischem Rasen eher nicht. Hundeverbot am Strand, gut so. Wer den Atlantik mag, ist hier richtig. Sanitäranlagen gut und sauber. Zu Hause essen wir auch nicht auf dem Klo. Wir sind in eine Hitzewelle geraten, nie war Meer so wichtig.

"Alles okay, gern wieder! - Schöner Campingplatz direkt am Meer ,hinter einer Düne. Kein Schicki Mikki, Toiletten alt aber immer sauber, im Sanitär Bereich keine Trennung von Männlein U. Weiblein Schattige sowie Sonnige Plätze vorhanden. Nächste Einkaufsmöglichkeit ca.3 km weiter in Bois Plage en Re. Keine deutschsprachigen Mitarbeiter.

"Strandcamping mit kleinen Schwächen - Das Beste vorweg. Der Plage des Gollandières ist direkt vom Campingplatz erreichbar! Die Sanitäranlagen waren von der Anzahl her ausreichend und lagen im französischen Durchschnitt was Größe und Sauberkeit betrifft. Für das Unvermögen mancher Nutzer, auch nur ansatzweise die benutzten Örtlichkeiten sauber zu halten, kann der Campingplatz nichts. Die Parzellen sind zum Teil sehr klein und auch schlecht anfahrbar. Abtrennungen zu den Nebenstellplätzen sind oftmals nicht vorhanden. Dahingehend sollte man bis zur 3. Augustwoche eine Vorbuchung vornehmen (außer man lässt seinen Caravan mit dem Helikopter einfliegen) bzw. verlässt sich auf sein Glück. Die abendliche Animation dauert nie lange (ca. 22:30 Uhr), da diese fast immer auf Kinder abgestimmt ist. Ansonsten empfand ich den Platz als positiv ruhig. Für das Frühstück können morgendlich (ohne Vorbestellung) Backwaren neben der Rezeption gekauft werden. Das Personal dort ist höflich, hilfreich und auch deutschsprachig (Louise). Direkt neben dem Platz befindet sich das Restaurant Cap au Sud mit gutem Essen (Muscheln, Pizza) zum angemessenen Preis. Die Insel ist als Radfahrparadies bekannt, was ich bestätigen kann. Vieles kann man mit dem Fahrrad erreichen, u.a. die Coopèrative des Vignerons de L`lle Rè (guter Wein zum fairen Preis) sowie die Markthallen neben dem Carrefour-Markt in Le Bois-Plage-en-Re (weltbeste Brioche!!!). Dort auch Markt. W-LAN war, wie mittlerweile anscheinend üblich, kostenpflichtig. Insgesamt gesehen

"Sehr schöner Campingplatz auf eines der schönsten Inseln - Der Platz ist wirklich zu empfehlen. Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Man kann voll eingerichtete Zelte mieten. Sind echt super Klasse!

" - Kleiner Campingplatz, super gepflegt und sehr nettes Personal, direkt am wunderschönen Sandstrand gelegen, nur 5 Radlminuten ins Dorfzentrum mit bestem Markt auf der Insel.

From the campsite, over 100 kilometres of cycling trails will take you around the island, to explore Saint-Martin-de-Ré’s Vauban fortif cations, the Baleines lighthouse and the Museum of Oyster Farming.
