Good location.NegativesAll good :)Peaceful and green rest placeIn spite of borders were closed during covid, out of season and rainy period that hit us, the lady who owns the place was not caught by surprise and the place was tighten up.
All amenities were available for campers and tents. Green, clean & tidy. Close to the main road but hidden from noise. Ask for... the advice and Milena will tell you all the tips, places or local services. Good location for exploring the Danube gorge. No stores and cafes in pristine nature :), so buy what you need on the main road before or after you make a turn on a local road.
We walked around and found 3 beautiful and friendly horses and we fed them with some bred.
*Watch for snakes and make optimal noise if you are going off the beaten path. At first we were the only guests with our tent, but thanks to our welcoming and friendly host Milena, we felt like home from the very beginning. She gave us her homemade raspberry juice and some advice about what to do in the national park.... On the second day, two other serbian guests joined the camping site and we had some barbecue in the evening together. Everything was well equipped and clean, so all in all I can really recommend Camping Asin for a stay!!
Vladimir D.August 2019AdvantagesIt is ideal for those who love nature and sound unpolluted places. Sanitary facility is clean and tidy and there are plenty of space for all type of camping equipment. Vicinity of Danube and National Park is advantage. Variety of activities both on water or in the forest are also big advantage.NegativesThere are no negative things, for me it is better if it is more remote location. It could be less (street) light during the night. Lower lighting is always much more cosy for camping.Real Camping in National Park DjerdapThis campsite is still growing and improving the facility, season by season. We visited it for the third time this year since we wanted to stay one more day and go for more hiking in the National Park. If you are looking for nice excursions around, by car or by boat, kind and friendly Milena can help... you very much. It is also good for all those who like to buy some homemade (organic) products from the neighbouring villages. Prepare the equipment and enough food if you don't want to go back to urban areas for supplies or write to host and ask if it is possible to buy something on the spot upon arrival. It is especially handy place for cycling lovers as well as for bikers on the Eurovelo routes 6 and 13.
