Great spot to stay especially in spring and autumn because of the sunny pitches. Their garden where we picked our vegetables is organic which is important for us. Had day trips to Imotski, Mostar and Dubrovnik. Very very clean facilities and they don't charge dogs

Toch kun je binnen 15 minuten van het strand en de zee genieten. De camping is een prima uitvalsbasis voor Makarska, Mostar, Split, Dubrovnik en het Biokovo natuurgebied. De eigenaren en Luna zijn supergastvrij en vriendelijk! We voelden ons echt welkom en komen zeker terug!

First on our way to Albania, than on our way from Albania and then we came back from Plitvic lakes to Biokovo again and stayed for 5 more days. 1) owners are so normal and down to earth people willing to talk about the area and give suggestions where to go and what... to see 2) location is not noisy, but you can hear the cars (we are used to ignore noise like that, so we didn’t find the site to be noisy at all) 3) everything perfectly clean, bathrooms and toilets cleaned few times a day 4) their garden just outside of the camp is amazing. During our stay we picked fresh (fresh!!!) directly from the ground vegetables (Swiss chart, carrots, tomatoes, cucumbers …) for our lunch 5) we the location to be perfect for us, first as a stop over and then as our base to explore areas around and its close to the ferry port to islands Brac and Havar. We will definitely go back to camp Biokovo.

Die Betreiber sind wirklich sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Aber in der Nacht war nur ein Aushilfsarbeiter anwesend. Ich habe den Platz auf Grund der Nähe zur Autobahn und der guten Bewertungen ausgesucht. Der Campingplatz liegt sehr abgelegen, ca. 2 km bergauf zur... Ortschaft in der es einen kleinen Supermarkt und einen Bäcker gibt. Auf dem Campingplatz gibt es gar nichts zu kaufen. Es ist ein kleiner Campingplatz für ca. 15 – 20 WoMo`s oder WoWa`s mit groben Schotter als Unterbau. Schattenplätze sind keine da. Das Sanitärgebäude ist sehr sauber, jedoch etwas klein, wenn mehrere Camper da sind. Im kleinen Sanitärgebäude gibt es bei den Herren eine Sitztoilette, wobei die Türe nach innen aufgeht und man muss über die Toilette steigen um die Türe schließen zu können. Dann gib es 2 Pissoir, 2 Waschbecken und 2 Duschen. Draußen auf der hinteren Seite gibt es 2 Waschbecken für Geschirr und 2 Becken für Wäsche, aber ohne warmes Wasser. Bei uns gab es nur warmes, bzw. heißes Wasser in der Dusche. Soweit waren wir zufrieden, nur bei der Bezahlung sollten wir für zwei Nächte 48.- Euro bezahlen. In der Hauptsaison kostet der Platz in der freien Natur 30.- Euro. Nachdem wir dem Seniorchef im ASCI – Heft unserer nächsten Ziel, ein 4 Sterne – Platz direkt am Meer um 15.- Euro die Nacht gezeigt haben, hat er darauf bestanden und uns 10.- Euro zurückgegeben, da er nur zufriedene Gäste haben will.

Away from the crowded coastal area Great location for day tripsNegativesThey need to wait for trees to growVery simple, excellent place and peopleOn first look it’s nothing special, but soon you realize it’s all you need if not more. It’s a very small campground; equipped with basics - sanitary facilities, small reception where they have fridge, fax machine, computer and yes they have Wi-Fi connection. We were there with tents, so I must say shade... is not so good, but we managed to find a spot we liked. The trees are quite small, but the flowers are beautiful. Location is really good, but it’s close to the highway so to those who have light sleep this could be a problem (my husband always has earplugs with him, so he slept really well).

Stay here!!!This is a small campground in Dalmatian hills, surrounded by Biokovo Mountain and beautiful nature. I loved every moment we spend there, everything is really clean and everywhere around the camp you can see how much hard work they have put in making sure it’s authentic and peaceful. Sanitary facilities... are unbelievable clean with great and strong shower. They olso offer Wi -Fi, washing machine and a place with tables and chairs for all guests to use. Owners take a really good care of everyone coming to their “house” and they offer homemade rakja and wine. What really trilled me is their organic garden for guest to use just outside of camp. This is how campground should be like. Thank you for the amazing stay.
- Viktoria H.August 2016Advantages- tolle Gastgeber - schöne, ruhige Lage - kleiner, sehr sauberer, familiärer Platz - nähe zur AutobahnNegatives- Nähe zur Autobahn - Bäume sind noch zu klein um Schatten zu spendenToller Platz mit fantastischen GastgebernBesonders hervorheben möchte ich zu Beginn die herzliche, zuvorkommende und liebenswerte Betreiberfamilie. Wir wurden von Beginn an hervorragend versorgt, haben regelmäßig Tüten voll mit leckerem und selbst angebautem Gemüse bekommen, durften selbstgemachten Schinken, Wein und Schnaps probieren (so lecker!)... und haben einen schönen Nachmittag und einen Abend miteinander verbracht. Unsere Wäsche wurde (kostenfrei) mitgenommen und am nächsten Tag sauber gewaschen, getrocknet und gebügelt wieder bekommen. So einen tollen und herzlichen Service hatten wir bislang noch auf keinem Platz. Der Platz ist schön angelegt und noch sehr neu. Duschen und Toiletten somit auch nagelneu und jederzeit blitzsauber gewesen. Der Campingplatz wurde mit viel Liebe zum Detail geplant und bepflanzt, überall blühen Blumen, die Bäume sind momentan noch etwas zu klein um Schatten zu spenden, allerdings wird die Natur in den nächsten Jahren noch Ihren Teil dazugeben. Die Lage ist ideal um Kroatiens wunderschönes Hinterland zu erkunden und bietet tollen Blick auf die wunderschönen Berge. Das Meer ist allerdings auch in 20 Minuten zu erreichen. Von der Autobahn sind es lediglich ein Paar Minuten zum Campingplatz - hierin besteht der einzige kleine Wehrmutstropfen. Von einer Seite des Campingplatzes kann man Blick auf die Autobahn und hört sie auch etwas (nicht störend). Wir haben die andere Seite gewählt und hatten eine wunderschöne Aussicht. Vielen Dank für die schönen drei Nächte, wenn wir mal wieder an dieser Ecke unterwegs sind, werden wir bestimmt wieder vorbeischauen.
- Alina J.August 2016Great campsite to stay!We thought about staying just over night at the camp but after the check in with Dragan (fantastic owner/host/"tourguide"), one schnaps and herb liquor for each of us, we decided to stay longer. The whole place is unbelievably clean and decorated with flowers everywhere. Dragan and his wife take care... for everything and both are so pleasant and funny. And they have a cute small baby-dog. It`s a perfect place for hiking (in biokovo national park) and you are not far away from the seaside (but without the crazy tourist horde). Absolute recommandation!

It is gorgeous, perched on a hill overlooking the Karst landscape. So quiet, you can hear the cicadas and birds. We were welcomed to the campsite by the host who kindly offered us incredible homemade walnut liquor and his own smoked... bacon [WOW]. The campsite is a 10 minute drive to the beach which to us was a plus since we were away from the intense crowds in Split/Markaska. The campsite is within walking distance to the atmospheric village of Zagvozd, which has two cafes and a wonderful restaurant [konoba miro] where we had a delicious lamb dish. Communication: Excellent. Very responsive via email. ... so peaceful.

We were really surprised when we discovered that there is a camping ground in a Zagvozd,... just few km from Imotski. Contacted owner and I must say she was so welcoming and knowable, gave lot of great tips so instead of staying one night there, we stayed 3 nights and really enjoyed. Everything is new and clean, 2 toilets for man and for woman, showers, books to swap. Option for coffee, breakfast, area for everybody to use with tables, washing place,. Plus they have planted so many beautiful flowers there that you just want to drink your coffee the morning and look at it.
