A family-friendly campground with very welcoming staff. The direct access to the coves is just perfect for enjoying the sea and the beach

The warm welcome and the very friendly staff.

One downside: the noise on Saturday night from the campground a little further away. Too bad.

We’ve been coming here for 16 years now and always feel right at home. Every year we see improvements, such as the waste separation program. It’s exemplary! The “Black Pearl” restaurant is excellent—the chef cooks here himself, and the staff are always in a great mood, even at the end of the long season. Also worth mentioning is the warmth of the staff at the front desk, especially Uwe and Magalie—both have been there for years, which speaks for itself. Oh, and we think the peacocks wandering around between the mobile homes are pretty funny.

Campground with direct access to the ocean. Beautiful swimming area for the whole family. Wide range of lodging options. Entertainment with a weekly program held in the central plaza or on the sports field. Restaurant offering good value for the price. Store with a wide selection of goods. Friendly and helpful staff.

A neighboring campground with parties and loud music until 4:00 a.m. on weekends (possibly only at the end of the season)

Friendliness

The lots are run-down and ugly, with no water or sewer service. The restaurant is way too expensive. What's with the ban on swim shorts? Total nonsense. People are drinking by the pool, but the bar is closed!

Water and drainage for the plots. Fine gravel or grass. Trim the plants.

Overall: , The campground and the very friendly and helpful staff—they always say hello, which is really nice! The restaurant, "Le Beach," where the food is excellent.

A small shelf in the shower to hold our shampoo and body wash, a coat rack for clothes, more light in the bathrooms (on the ocean side), and a check-out time of 11 a.m. instead of 10 a.m. would be a plus for the campsites

There are a lot of peacocks on the beach. This has led to litter from peacock droppings. Unfortunately, the beach is very messy this year (lots of driftwood and trash).

We were quite far apart from each other; the tranquility, the hot tub, and the cleanliness of the restrooms

The mobile home was in impeccable condition. We received a very warm welcome at the front desk. The campground is in a great location near the ocean.

The staff are always nice and friendly.

The water supply and waste disposal station leaves much to be desired. The station is very unsanitary for filling up with fresh water. Dogs are washed with the fresh water hose. The hose is also always lying on the ground in a puddle of wastewater. A decent faucet that turns on and off wouldn’t be a luxury either. Many campers bring their own fresh water hose. I and many other RV travelers would use this waste disposal station only for gray water disposal, if at all.

The "pirates" theme was evident everywhere.

A really nice campground by the ocean

the pool water is a little cold
