Toilets for northern Europeans a bit tight on the knees, direct and closer surroundings of the place not really nice, swimming in the sea or in the Etang is no fun because of the beaches and the environment.

Management was attentive and understanding when we encountered a problem. They are committed to customer well-being and dedicated to ensuring compliance with the rules.

When guests arrive, it would be helpful to inform them about the available services, such as: washing machines—their location, whether tokens are needed, and the dryer—as well as nearby supermarkets or convenience stores... and also to provide brochures on places to visit or activities available in the area.

Peace and quiet, and direct access to the Étang de Berre.

There should be more trash cans on the campground, and they should be bigger. The ones by the showers and the dishwashing area fill up quickly. The restaurant should be open for lunch and dinner. The pool should be supervised. During our stay, a woman in a burkini went swimming. Children were playing with a soccer ball in the pool. Some people (teens) swam while wearing T-shirts, others (women) wore short cycling shorts, and still others (teens) threw the green plastic chair into the pool while sitting on it.

Spacious site. The staff ensures a quiet atmosphere and is always available.

The access road was very bumpy; there were drainage issues with the showers and restrooms; cleanliness could be improved; and there was a major problem with cell service on the campground. We received no information at the front desk on the day of our arrival.

The cleanliness of the accommodations and common areas needs improvement. A lot of noise. No security. The campground is open 24 hours a day.

Calm

Dilapidated mobile home (seat torn off and badly damaged, holes in the floor—and even torn up in places—and clearly not cleaned before our arrival). Wi-Fi doesn’t work. Pool rules aren’t being enforced (swim shorts, burkinis, T-shirts, etc.). It’s up to management to ensure its own rules are followed.

The staff's kindness

We stayed at the campground in 2022; since then, it appears to have been bought by Thykaian. No investments have been made in this campground, which gives the impression of questionable hygiene despite the employees’ efforts. The restrooms and the pool are too run-down and require major repairs (moldy caulking, water leaks, showers and toilets out of service). The organized evening events are hard to bear because the entertainment is of such poor quality. Becoming part of a corporate group has undermined the quality of this small campground; financial interests must now take precedence!

The size of the sites.

The showers are becoming increasingly dilapidated, with leaking pipes, clogged drains, and several of them out of service. The access road is full of potholes. The RV wastewater drain: when you empty the toilet cassette, water backs up into the graywater drain.

Your Staff was really nice, Camping place was clean and a lot of space. Also the Pizza was really good.

It was really really distrubing how loud your animation and party was two nights in a row. There are so many campers who do not want this entertainment and it really should have been possible to turn down the music a bit or turn the speakers into a different direction. Yes, after 23pm it was over but there were also children who wanted to sleep.

The sun and the beach right next door

To start with, there’s the road leading to the campground, which is all bumpy—so much for the shock absorbers. Then there are the dogs that bark all night long and people who use the restrooms as a gathering spot at night, which leads to noise and doors slamming. As for the pool, there’s no respect for the rules and no supervision, the showers are dirty and just hosed down without any cleaning products—you can tell just by looking at the bottom of the walls—the evening activities are the same every night, and everything is old. Luckily, there’s the beach right next door to save the campground…

Choosing a Location

The pool is packed with kids—it's like a playground for them. It's impossible to move or swim; we definitely need a security guard. And at night, the dogs bark constantly.

Pizza and drinks at the welcome party

There’s a lot of room for improvement. At the welcome reception, there was no service from the staff or activities offered—we weren’t motivated to participate in the activities. We went to the mussels-and-fries night because a promotion had been advertised from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., so we went to make a reservation—but the cook wasn’t happy; you have to reserve the night before at 2:30 a.m. to eat, and there was no atmosphere. The restrooms weren’t cleaned well enough—the same smudges on the walls for four days in a row. The pool didn’t have enough shade. Access to the beach = a ridiculous beach. We paid 60 euros to choose our spot, only to find out that everyone else gets to choose theirs too.
