Marlene G.červenec 2025PozitivaI liked everything, the campsite is beautiful and quiet right on the clean Ablacher See. The staff are courteous, friendly and very helpful. There is everything your heart desires. A small kiosk, washing machines and even a fridge. Sleeping in the wooden sleeping barrel was great fun. Dogs are allowed and are even allowed in the water. The staff were super friendly, courteous and helpful. I was allowed to sleep with my 3 small dogs in a wooden sleeping barrel, which had electricity,... light and enough space. It was very comfortable. The atmosphere at the campsite was also great. Nice people, children, dogs, laughter. The sanitary facilities were very clean, there was a kiosk, washing machines and even a fridge where you could keep your things cool. A great, relaxing short break. But then I left the key transponder hanging in the shower and a little later it was gone and so was the EUR 20 deposit.
When I asked on departure whether the transponder had been handed in, the lady at reception said no... and demanded a EUR 50 penalty. I felt this was a rip-off, as we had paid a deposit and there was no mention of a penalty fee in the business description.Automaticky přeloženo.

Guests on the site all very friendly 😊 Small lounge with drinks!NegativaOperator and staff very convinced of themselves, it is not okay to blaspheme about paying guests, something like that is simply impossible! Large sawmill and concrete plant right next to and behind the campsite, is not mentioned anywhere! Price - performance does not fit, very expensive! WLAN must be paid extra, dirty and weed-strewn volleyball court....ohne net! Next to the campsite and pitches big pile of dirt, spoiled wooden pallets, weeds everywhere ... not a nice sight! View of the lake from the front pitches not possible ... overgrown, tall trees and bushes, simply unkempt! At the weekend snack bar with currywurst and chips, not recommended!Disappointing Seencamping KrauchenwiesUnfortunately not recommendable, we were there for the first and last time!

The boss himself sits in the reception and later everyone eats together.
Very family-run, that's how camping is known.
The site is well looked after and everything is clean.
Nobody is afraid of contact here and wishes are catered for....
There were a few groups at the campsite, which were unfortunately a bit noisy. However, the staff always made sure that everyone felt comfortable and asked for consideration from all sides if it was too loud.
Price performance absolutely fine.

To our surprise, the Easter bunny was supposed to come to the site. In the morning, there were lots of colorful eggs hidden in the beautifully landscaped playground. Suddenly, the Easter bunny appeared and searched for the lost Easter eggs together... with the children.
Later, he walked around the whole square with the children and they distributed Easter eggs to all the guests together.
Afterwards there were small Easter bags and you could do handicrafts together with the Easter bunny.
The children and other guests were delighted.
In the evening, you could take pizza back to the campsite or eat in the snack bar, accompanied by delicious cocktails and cold drinks.
The sanitary facilities were always clean. The staff were super friendly.

We received a very friendly welcome at reception and our dog was immediately treated to a welcome gift. They immediately responded to our pitch requests. The site is very well maintained and you can tell straight away that something is being done here.
In... the evening there is pizza and cocktails, where guests and permanent campers come together. A cozy and relaxed atmosphere.

I wanted to stay in rented accommodation with my boyfriend for 3 days and paid the full amount of 300 euros for 3 nights when I made the booking. Unfortunately, my friend became ill and we had to cancel 6 weeks before the date. I was... promised a 50% refund, i.e. 150 euros. After weeks I only got 130 euros back. The reason given by the place operator: "You should have called me and not my employees"
For me, 170 euros is a lot of lost money. I have to earn the money back in my spare time by dog-sitting.

Beautiful lake, very cold.NegativaVery noisy site, well frequented at the weekend for partying late into the night, still not quiet at 1:30 in the morning. Vehicles drive into the site at 3am etc. Nothing is controlled here by the site operator. Very noisy during the week due to the concrete plant, from 6:30 am it starts with loud hammering and loading activities. So you don't really get to rest. Very few sanitary facilities, some of them defective, push buttons for the water defective, fresh water points on the pitch have been dripping for a long time. At the outdoor washing-up area you can see right into the ladies' showers, which is very unpleasant. Men's toilet ceiling ventilation leaking and moldy, and and and. Unfriendly, inflexible staff, all in all a place not to be recommended.Halli Galli party place, nothing for recreation !!!Well suited for all-night parties on weekends, which is also used extensively. During the week the place is almost empty. There is no janitor or groundsman etc. who maintains the site and so many things are broken or don't work properly. But that's just a side note ...Wonderful weekend on the squareWe were at the campsite from 23.06.23-26.06.23 with the camper. We were given a friendly welcome when we registered and the site procedures were explained. The pitches are clearly marked and large enough. Access to the lake is direct and can be reached on foot in about 5 minutes. This means that a SUP... is not too heavy :-)
The sanitary facilities were clean and accessible 24 hours a day. (except for cleaning times)
Beautiful bike tours are possible from the site and Sigmaringen or Campus Galli, for example, are easily accessible. On arrival, we were also assigned a different pitch than the one we had booked - although this is permitted under the terms and conditions, it still put a damper on our vacation enjoyment. Or you have travel cancellation... insurance and don't worry if you have to pay 80 euros to cancel a booking of around 100 euros ....
My husband had booked a few days at very short notice in the summer, but then unfortunately had to cancel at equally short notice because I fell ill. We had - and this was our mistake - not read the rental conditions carefully before booking
We were charged horrendous cancellation fees (90% 14 days before arrival) even before it was clear that the pitch could not be occupied by someone else.
The only "goodwill" we were offered was a voucher, which had to be redeemed before the end of the year. Unfortunately, we were unable to do this due to the vacations, so we politely asked whether it would be possible next year. The provider didn't respond to this at all, instead threatening us with lawyers, debt collection and court action and becoming very rude in the email.... That's just not on.
We have paid for the cancellation. But we only give the place one star because of the rental conditions and the absolutely unfriendly tone by email.
