We have traveled to many places, with varying results. But this place beats them all.
When we arrived, reception was not manned. A passing employee greeted us with "I'm not on duty today." Another 15 minutes later, we were greeted (presumably by the manager) with the message that many guests had arrived... spontaneously and that there was nothing free on the main square... By the way, we had made a reservation...
But there was another meadow by the lake next door. When we asked if there was water there, the boss had to be consulted first...
We then looked for a free spot on the meadow. Right by the lake and very nice. There was electricity and somehow water too. (We asked if it was drinking water. We couldn't get an answer).
The clean sanitary facilities are 400 m away from here. There is no restaurant, only a kiosk. But it's okay for a snack.
We wanted to swap a gas cylinder and asked if they also had aluminum cylinders. Answer: "We only have gray ones."
On departure, you have to go through two barriers. The first one is unlocked by the staff (we waited more than ten minutes on arrival...), at the second one you have to insert three euros for the barrier to open. According to the staff, it was cheaper on the meadow where we were standing.
We don't think 66 euros for two adults and two nights is cheap given the facilities.
Incidentally, the site is audibly close to the highway. Extensive building work is taking place on the site. There is no indication of either on the homepage...
Perhaps everything will be better after the renovation. However, we will not be looking at it.

Beautiful campsite / facility
The campsite and the entire complex are very well maintained, clean and lovingly decorated.
Good local location.
Beautiful beer garden with campfire site right on the lake. Very nice "evening atmosphere" with campfire, music and bar. Good cuisine and a large selection of homemade cakes and tarts.
Host... family and staff very friendly, open-minded, courteous and helpful.
Suitable for all age groups.
Harmonious coexistence between vacationers, day guests and permanent campers.

We are always happy to stay there and can only recommend Seehaus Mamming.

Lovely camping vacation with friends and the kids
We spent two weekends camping with the children in June and July. It was like a short vacation every time. We'll be back!

Very nice staff, both in the hotel and in the beer garden. The hotel, beer garden, camping and sanitary facilities are lovingly decorated.

Unfortunately, the beer garden had to be closed early due to the coronavirus.

Much too loud. High prices. No hot water for showers. Schnitzel unfortunately from the plastic bag. French fries hard as a rock. Stayed there for 3 nights. Actually wanted to stay longer. But you can't do without sleep. Was at the campsite from 22.oo sleep not to think much too loud music until the early hours

Where do the positive reviews come from?
Too bad for the team that makes an effort. But unfortunately they have no control over the campsite. A real shame
