A fish sandwich for 6€. You could get one in Kühlungsborn on the promenade(!) for €5 and it had better rolls and was also freshly made. You can also do something on the beach. It's not forbidden to clear the stones out of the water at... a bathing area. The entertainment seemed to have a free pass for loud music this year. Whether at 1pm or 4pm. It seemed as if they wanted to try out the new bass box with Dire Straits. It was really annoying. I don't know if you have to wake up the whole campsite at 10am?
The open air broadcast of the last European Championship group game of the German women at 6pm was drowned out by the inferno of the mini disco from 7pm. You had to finish watching it in the camper van. There was nothing like that for the men the year before ?

The pitches in the first row in particular offer a gigantic view of the Baltic Sea!!!! From there you can admire the wild sea, but also a fantastic sunset!
The new toilet blocks are... particularly well done, with enclosed toilets and large shower cubicles!
A small store on the site sells basic necessities and fresh bread rolls every morning.
You can reach Rerik by bike in 20 minutes, Kühlungsborn is a bit further and also a bit more strenuous, especially if you don't have an e-bike. It is a bit uphill and downhill.
There's a lot to do for the children, nice animation gives everything. A good mix of adventure and peace and quiet.
The beach is very stony, one side for dogs and the other not, unfortunately no possibility to sit or even lie down. Walks on the beach are not possible directly at the campsite.
The food on the campsite was okay, but it could be better.

And if you want to lie in the sand you have to walk a little higher along the sand there is more sand less stones.

The washrooms and toilets are very unpleasant smelling due to the hermetic seal.
At the exit to the beach, at the level of the waste disposal station up to about the beginning of the restaurant, it smelled very... disgusting like cesspool during my stay.
I also find the Italian restaurant very expensive, so it's better to cook for yourself!

We stayed at the campsite in May/June - including for Father's Day and Whitsun - and were looking forward to a relaxing time. Unfortunately it didn't work out: the campsite turned into a noisy party mile.
Lots of alcohol, loud laughter and... shouting late into the night - and children running around unsupervised in the middle of it all.
The staff were not available in the evening and at night, and were only present until 19:00. Other guests were forced to call the public order office to get someone to intervene.
When we asked, they just said: "It's a family get-together."
We've never experienced anything like this in all our years of camping - and we've been camping for a long time.
Very disappointing, and totally inappropriate for a site with such high standards.
