Nice campsite for an overnight stay
As already mentioned by other campers, the site is very well suited as a stopover for the onward journey to the Atlantic, as it is only about 6 km from the A 89. We received a very friendly welcome and found a beautiful pitch with a view of Lac Ponty. The site itself is very well maintained. The sanitary... facilities are very clean and spacious. Another positive aspect is that there is no rental accommodation. Adjacent to the campsite is a municipal leisure area with a lido (sandy beach and sunbathing lawn) and a nice restaurant, although we were not convinced by the menu. There are no shopping facilities on the campsite and it was not possible to order bread. However, there is a large new Leclerc about 2 km away. There is a nice cycling and walking path around the lake and there are several other cycle paths of varying lengths. Wifi is available free of charge near the reception. The campsite has only 40 pitches on a spacious site. Due to the small number of pitches, it is probably not listed in German camping guides, which we do not see as a disadvantage, as this means that the German big-ship drivers are missing. The low price is astonishing. In June, we paid €12 for a pitch for a motorhome with two people and electricity.

Quiet location by the lake, not far from the highway towards Bordeaux. Leclerc supermarket approx. 1km away.

There are virtually no shopping facilities on the campsite.
Quiet, beautifully situated
Description by andré-792 sums it up very well. You can relax and recharge your batteries for the onward journey or excursions in the surrounding area. Well located for the stopover to Bordeaux.
