Sanitary area! A slide that doesn't work
I have no idea what to say about this....
the CP has an area that is divided into plots. It's shady there. But you can hear the road all night long. Or an open meadow with hardly any trees. This is close to the stalls that are open every evening until 23.00. We were allowed to choose our own pitch. We came because we had seen the slide in the... pictures. But it is fenced in and closed - out of order. It doesn't look like that will change in the foreseeable future. Nobody wanted to swim either. The water smelled kind of musty. The jetty had also seen better days. Some rotten boards urgently needed replacing. There were a few anglers who were after carp and let the fish swim straight away. The sanitary facilities in the area that is parceled out are very old and unfortunately not clean. The sanitary facilities in the meadow area are certainly only a few years old. The women's area is still cleaned to some extent, but apparently only the men's floor was mopped. Showering was only possible with a coin slot. The shower cubicle only had a small shelf for a maximum of one wash bag. The water came in small gushes. One family we met on the pitch lived in a bungalow. They told us that it actually had its own sanitary facilities, but nobody wanted to use them because they were apparently not clean. In the evening, from around 5pm, the sales area was open. You could buy all kinds of food and drinks there. There were also a few souvenirs on offer. And music as a kind of children's disco from around 7pm to 11pm. We arrived on a Monday, when a few rides were being dismantled that were probably still in operation. Another family we had met had also come here for the slide, but was now using the campsite as a starting point for hikes to the Schneekoppe. After we realized that the best years of the entire site were probably already history, we left the site again.

Byli jsme tu nekolik dni na zacatku kvetna 2019. Kemp byl prazdny a v provozu jen jedna hospoda a zadny obchod. Socialni zarizeni je v dostatecnem poctu, ale pouze hlavni budova je v akceptovatelnem stavu. Ostatni jsou v katastrofalnim stavu, ktery si zahranicni navstevnici fotili, jelikoz toto se casto... nevidi. Tepla voda tekla pouze v hlavni budove, byť v ostatnich sprchach automat penize sebral ale teplou nedal. Vylevka na toaletu je pouze v hlavni budove, coz muze byt z nekterych casti kempu velmi daleko. To same plati i o pitne vode, pokud ji nechcete nabitat na toalete.

Friendly, huge, clean sanitary facilities
A little amusement park
In the high season, you certainly have everything there. There are lots of kiosks, pizza & co, leisure activities. Definitely a great place for children. However, everything was closed when we went there / We were passing through at the beginning of October, it was raining non-stop and we sank into the... meadow mud. There were curiously few pitches with electricity, so we were very far away from the sanitary facilities. These were quite tidy, not heated, and of course very lonely at the time. Friendly staff at the entrance. The lake can be reached from the campsite.

Very large, very 1980's campsite...
Friendly staff and hectares of space. It's more like a small country, than a campsite. For power/WiFi, be sure to camp somewhere close to the reception building. This is also where you find the sanitary block, which is new and clean - unless you go in there sunday morning after the "Beach Disco"... No... shops on site, but you are only 1500 m from the little town of Ceska Skalice, that sports several supermarkets. There must be around 15-20 restaurants on the site itself. About 6-7 of them were open, beginning of June, and they serve tasty, but heavy, Czech food and nice, cold pilsners at prices that are fantastic value for money. The main attraction is the lake - of which many pitches has a scenic view - and the kid's pool. The latter seems relatively clean, but the lake was not very inviting. There's a nice and clean minigolf setup, where everyting works. The playground is quite big as well, but that was about it for attractions - despite the website showing a lot more options.

We were 3 families last year this year we are going 6! It is sensational. Fee for hot showers 20k gas stoves for free, the only downside is limited access to electricity, if someone wants to camp in a remote part of the resort will not have electricity, no problem for us!
