The tranquility and the natural surroundings.

I can't think of anything off the top of my head.
From campground to gîte.
We were originally planning to go camping, but thanks to the poor weather forecast, we were fortunately able to change our reservation to Gîte Lavandine. In the end, we had beautiful weather, and the Gîte turned out to be a wonderful choice!

The Gîte is cozy, comfortable, and fully equipped. There’s... no air conditioning, so it can get a bit warm on hot days, but by opening the windows with screens against each other, there’s thankfully good ventilation. There’s also a fan. There’s a nice terrace at both the front and back, so you can choose between sun or shade, with a beautiful view. A nearly private path leads you straight to the lovely pool.

The grounds are also beautifully green, there’s a cozy bar, and we saw lots of animals. Another great perk: eating together and being able to order fresh bread from the bakery every morning.

In the end, switching to the Gîte actually made our vacation even more carefree and wonderful! 🌿☀️

An oasis of peace and hospitality
Camping is still camping here, a spacious campsite where everyone will find a suitable pitch. The pitches are laid out according to nature (partly terraced) and are very spacious. The couple who run the campsite make every effort to fulfill every wish. Many thanks to Marion and Cax for making these wonderful... days possible. The sanitary facilities are simple but very clean. Marion cooks for the guests several times a week and is very responsive to their wishes. If you are really looking for peace and relaxation, this is the place for you.

No children in the campground.
This is where you really come to rest!
A lovely campground where, once you've spent a night there, you won't want to leave so soon. Centrally located in the Cathar area. All convenience and clean, neat sanitary facilities. In short: everything you need to unwind and soak up some culture.
