Calm

A campsite with decent private restroom facilities and plenty of shade.

Very pleasant and fully equipped

This was our third visit; the first was in 2011. There have been a lot of improvements, but the place is still the same: a welcoming spot. My son really enjoyed himself, while I was able to read a few books. Perfect—we'll be back next year.

Very spacious and well-shaded sites. The campground is beautifully laid out and features a lovely water park. And it's close to Bayonne.

Clean campground

Very friendly and attentive staff, a beautifully maintained facility, and plenty of play areas for children. The pool area is impressive. The beer is reasonably priced and good, the homemade pizzas are excellent, and the regular musical performances (in the summer) are exceptional. The shuttle bus right at the entrance to the beach in Ondres Plage is great—it lets you wind down the evening at the beach bar with a glass of sangria without risking your driver’s license—what more could you ask for... We were the only Germans there during the 11 days we were there—a real hidden gem...

There's nothing more to say—the private bathrooms on the campsite are truly the best, the welcome is as warm as ever, and the activities and facilities are ideal!

The campground is spotlessly clean. It's very well maintained and beautifully landscaped. It's very quiet. The pool is great. The play areas are excellent.

Open spaces, not crammed together, playgrounds, etc...

Very peaceful and perfect for families. Excellent pool area and several playgrounds for kids. Very clean. The staff is very friendly and always willing to help.

Good infrastructure

Very disappointed for a 4-star campground The facilities are very good but very poorly managed. No entertainment, the food service doesn't live up to a 4-star standard, the shower restrictions to limit overuse are a good idea but the showers themselves are subpar—there's no water pressure to rinse off, and cleanliness is questionable. The pool is great but not heated at all, as specified on the website. The wading pool and spa jets are freezing.

A beautifully maintained campground with large, well-kept campsites. The warm welcome and the always friendly and helpful hostesses are a credit to the campground.

A small shop where you can buy some groceries. A small sink with a soap dispenser in the restroom upstairs so you can wash your hands after using the toilet. As far as we’re concerned, the restaurant’s small menu could use some careful review to see what improvements can be made.

The only two buildings with restrooms, showers, and facilities for washing dishes and clothes are practically right next to each other, near the pool. As a result, most of the campsites are quite far from these facilities. It’s even worse if you need to use the restroom at night… it’s quite a walk… this is incomprehensible for a campground with this rating. They also didn’t reply to our email to confirm the check-in time for the campsites.

Everything went together

A beautifully landscaped property, child-friendly, with plenty to do, yet relaxing and quiet—great for families and travelers without children alike. Very friendly staff.

The chemical toilet drain next to the sinks isn't very attractive; it would be nicer if it were a little farther away.

The personal attention from the owners, the clean and well-maintained restrooms, the wonderfully cool, spacious pool, and the beautiful, spacious sites.

It's a bit far from Bayonne and from a small village with basic amenities.
