A beautiful campground. We were lucky to get a spot right by the sea with a private little beach. The campground also has shaded areas, which look very cozy. The restrooms are perfect and clean. It’s all very charming—you feel like you’re in paradise.

A great campground that offers plenty of dining and entertainment options. A fun entertainment team for the kids and a wide selection of pools. And all of this in the beautiful hills of Tuscany. The campground is also situated on a hillside, so be prepared for some "climbing" and descending.

We were at site 183. A terrible spot. Tucked away in a corner at the end of a row of RVs with a view of nothing but trees. We had to lug our luggage around. It was two awful weeks. It wasn’t the first time we’d been to this campground. The caravan outside the patio was spacious and perfect for the dogs. Caravan: no roller shade or venetian blind for the kitchen window—it was broken. The screen was broken in one of the bedrooms. No measuring cup; it took an hour to get the mini coffee filter machine ready; no whisk; we had to boil water in a large pot. There was a tiny saucepan, but only one frying pan.

Take a good look at what should be included in a 6-person caravan. Then add items, making sure they’re specifically geared toward 6 people. For example, we couldn’t even cook our own meals in the mini saucepan.

The location in the heart of Tuscany is beautiful; the park has all the amenities you could want; the glamping tent offers unobstructed views. We really enjoyed dinner in the vineyard at the adjacent property!

It’s really crowded. You have to love this kind of thing. For example: The beach volleyball court looked nice, but it’s at least a 20-minute walk to get there, so we skipped it. Live music/shows: On any given night, there are often events at three different venues—too much for us. Food: from ice cream to sushi, kibbeling, pizza, wine tasting, … at least 15 options: overwhelming. And everything costs (a lot of) money. It lacks a personal touch. Everything goes through the app: it’s comprehensive, but there’s so much information that you get lost—could there be more verbal information at check-in? An extra laundry machine spot would be nice. The PA system is hard to hear.
Had a great vacation at the village (not a campground)
The view was beautiful; there was a nice table and some benches on the terrace. It was nice that there was air conditioning.

The bathrooms were old and often dirty. It smelled bad in the bathroom building. The smell was sometimes so bad that we decided not to shower. The water in the pool was really, really cold.

Since the course is built in the mountain, it goes up and down accordingly. It was no problem for us. If someone is not so good on foot, you should think about it. But there is also a funicular that runs through the park every 20 minutes and could also take someone anywhere else.

We were last guests of CP Norcenni at Easter 2017 and were not satisfied then. We have known the Norenni since 1999 and have visited twelve times. A lot has changed since our last visit in 2017. The access road was successfully redesigned, the old reception was rebuilt and the bazaar was housed in it.... Unfortunately, I noticed that the press and book corner that was there in the past has been removed without replacement, which is a real shame. The old supermarket has been rebuilt and there are now several food stalls there. In 2017, we were not satisfied with the cleanliness and quality of the sanitary facilities. Now in May 2022 the sanitary facilities are clean, they were cleaned several times a day but also the quality of the sanitary facilities is fine, not only have the shower fittings been replaced but there are no more dripping taps and the water drains well everywhere. There are plenty of washing machines and tumble dryers. The CP has changed for the better. The staff were friendly and courteous. The supermarket has a good range, unfortunately the fresh food counter was not yet open in May 2022, so you had to make do with packaged meat, sausages and cheese. The calzone in the restaurant "Il Girasole" once again tasted excellent. Unfortunately, we didn't find a dog shower, but one should be installed again. We will definitely be back.

In August 2018 we (2 adults, 2 teenagers) stayed at this "campsite" for 2 weeks with a caravan. This very large "campsite" is characterized by mobile homes and glamping, so the camping feeling is lost. As the site is mainly populated by Dutch and British people, it is adapted to this (entertainment,... communication with staff, food). The site is centrally located in Tuscany and is therefore a good starting point for excursions and bike tours. The general cleanliness is good, but the sanitary facilities are outdated. We had the impression that certain mobile home vacationers did not want to accept the camper pitches because they were used as playgrounds for their children. As this campsite is now just a mobile home village, it is no longer an option for us.

Mobile home town and not a campsite
We stayed at the Norcenni Girasole Club for 17 days in August 2018. The complex itself is very well laid out but relatively large. The mobile homes predominate. Pitches for caravans and motorhomes are in the minority and so we missed the "campsite flair". Within the complex you can get everything you... need for your daily needs at affordable prices. The restaurants are of good quality. The two pool areas are well laid out and very varied. So there is something for everyone. The resort is located in the middle of Tuscany and is therefore a great center for various excursions to great small towns and the beautiful Tuscan countryside. However, the resort is completely in Dutch hands (approx. 70%) and there are also approx. 20% Brits. The rest is divided between Italians, French and Germans. The entertainment program is also designed accordingly. Dutch and Italian entertainers and accordingly our children hardly found any German-speaking vacation friends. Our daughter hardly took part in the mini club because only 2-3 entertainers spoke broken German. The entertainment program was otherwise very varied and diverse. The sanitary facilities in our area were outdated and not the cleanest by German standards, but still okay. However, there are modern and better sanitary facilities in other areas. The staff are friendly and helpful, but you need reasonably good English to communicate. Even with the staff who could speak German according to their name tags, I found it easier to communicate in English. This made communication much easier. Conclusion: If you want to go on a camping and beach vacation with German children up to the age of 17 with entertainment, you should avoid this campsite or live with the circumstances. All in all, it was a good vacation, but we've had better ones.

Very nice campsite
We were there in May 2018 in some very bad weather and (nevertheless) felt very comfortable. Although there is indeed a lot of rental accommodation, we didn't find that the camping feeling suffered as a result. The advantage is that all the facilities were open, even though it was still early in the... season. All the restaurants we visited had very tasty food at good prices. The supermarket is very well stocked and has reasonable prices. The staff were always friendly. The pitches are large and some have water and waste water connections. The site is beautifully landscaped with lots of flowers. The pools are also great with plenty of sun loungers. Very reasonably priced in the low season. The only criticism: the sanitary facilities are outdated, clean but old. The water in the ladies' showers was usually only lukewarm (the men's was better). You can go on beautiful hikes, there are many small towns nearby and Florence and Siena are also easy to reach.

On our big trip to Italy, we stayed at the campsite in Tuscany at the beginning of May and end of June. However, the site is not so much a campsite as a village (almost a town) of mobile homes and vacation apartments. The pitches (the few there are) are beautiful and well maintained. However, we missed... the campsite flair - the crowd was simply different. The infrastructure is excellent, as is the organization. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Everything you need is available (although not cheap). Various restaurants, supermarkets, bakery, fish store, ice cream, bars, cafes, stores etc. The restaurants are definitely recommended. The pools are fantastic. Beautifully embedded in the landscape, well thought out and especially wonderful for children. The sanitary facilities are always clean and nicely done, but the showers were only cold to lukewarm during both stays. Basically, as a camper, you have to say that this site has little to do with a conventional campsite, the "flair" is missing and was a bit annoying.

A dream vacation
We were there for 1 week for the first time in 2017 in a mobile home. For us it was an absolutely successful vacation with a 10 year old child. The complex is beautiful, clean and the staff very friendly. Everyone speaks English and the food is excellent. You can get everything you need at reasonable... prices in the supermarket on site. And we liked it so much that we will spend the entire Whitsun vacation there this year and then also take part in one or two excursions
