Reinier V.юни 2025ПозитивниWij hebben 16 dagen op Quellental campingplatz doorgebracht. Mooie schone camping van alle gemakken voorzien. Vriendelijke leiding. Gave good tips. Het sanitair is mooi, royaal en erg schoon. Het euromuntje voor 5 minuten heerlijk douchen is het helemaal waard. Voor de campinggasten staat er een droogmolen met wasknijpers. Wasmachine en ook een wasdroger zijn beschikbaar. From the campsite you can walk through a beautiful old bos in with heuvels, kwellen and beekjes. Detmold, Paderborn, Lemgo en Hameln zijn schilderachtige stadjes op redelijk korte afstand van de camping. Ook dichtbij zijn het Hermann Denkmal, Extern Steine en het Vogelpark. The campsite is located at the end of the village of Pivitsheide, directly on hiking... trails, including the Hermannswanderweg. It is about 7 km on foot to the Hermann. Spring and stream directly at the campsite, only approx. 100 to 200 m away. Refreshing for hot days, especially for travelers with dogs. I enjoyed the time. Actually 5 stars are not enough. OK, access through the residential street could be difficult for very large (bus) motorhomes or extremely long caravans. The road has been narrowed in some places to calm traffic and ends in a 90° bend.
We received a very friendly... welcome as soon as we drove up to reception.
We had already sent our registration details by email, so it went very quickly. We were accompanied to the pitch. Some of the pitches are completely grass, others are paved for the caravan area. We had the latter. This could be problematic for an awning, as no pegs can be placed directly on the slabs. With our awning, however, there were no problems.
SAT reception should be possible on almost all pitches, perhaps the old trees on the southern side, which is directly adjacent to the forest, could cause problems. WiFi coverage is great (1€ per day for 2 devices).
The adjacent forest offers an infinite number of small paths, ideal for walks or mountain biking. Speaking of dogs: our furry friends are absolutely welcome on the campsite, and we even received a small welcome gift. Accordingly, almost every camper had a dog with them. But there were no problems, everything was harmonious.
The new upper wash house sets new standards! The cabins for the toilets are generously sized. So spacious, in fact, that many campers also use it as a washroom, so it can get a bit cramped during rush hour. The showers are also generously proportioned (5min 1€). Everything is constantly kept clean and is new and modern. It couldn't be better. There is probably a lower (older) wash house. I can't judge this as it was closed due to flood damage.
