Reserved and driven again on arrival
Well, what can you say about this campsite. We wanted to stay here for 2 days on our journey through, but on arrival we immediately moved on to Malcesine. The meaningful picture on the homepage gives the impression of an idyll, but unfortunately this is not the case in reality. The site consists of 70... percent permanent campers who have cobbled something together (anything but nice to look at) The few remaining pitches are directly behind a high corner on the road! You can't see anything of the lake or the mountains and only really look at this hedge if you're in the front row. But there aren't really any more rows, as the other pitches are reserved for permanent campers. In any case, we didn't want to look directly at a hedge on the road and otherwise look at the wooden shacks. The atmosphere is only nice at the top of the slope by the main house, because there is a nice big terrace and you can sit there and enjoy the mountain panorama. But we don't get anything out of it when we're down there. There is no parking space at the top of this slope.
