Plenty of hot water for showering & washing up. Good 16A electric supply and water within a short distance of every pitch. Town with shops within a short walking distance. swimming pool across the road. Very reasonably priced at €24p.n. inc Motorhome, 2 persons, electric & sanitary facilities.НегативиA little difficult to understand the check in procedure. Now I know you are required to check in and pay at the swimming pool entrance and choose your desired pitch and number of days. The assistant only speaks German so a translation is required.Nice, quiet campsiteReally happy with our stay here and would happily have stayed longer but it would have meant moving pitch as where we were had been booked.

Is that a disadvantage?Simple square between outdoor pool, lake, Elbe and old townLong but narrow parking spaces, which does not make parking easy. Parceled out and separated by hedges. Stood at the back of the san building, where there is also a door into the forest and to the leisure area by the lake - for walking. The san building is older but has been renovated and was always... clean. It was also well heated and the toilet roll holder, paper dispenser and hand wash soap dispenser were always full. Here you will also find the chemical emptying room and a small lounge and kitchen. Entry is always possible, registration at the outdoor pool which is free for campers. Contrary to the notice, showers are included and there is no time limit. We paid just under 20€. Electricity, chemical emptying and showers included. In a few minutes you are in the very beautiful old town of Dannenberg where there are also several restaurants and supermarkets. We cycled the "Amphibious Worlds" cycle route - 25 km long and partly along the Elbe. You can register at the reception by the swimming pool. The price of €14.50 for two people including utilities was okay. As a guest of the campsite, you can also use the swimming pool next to the campsite free of charge. There were plenty of free... pitches and we were able to choose one that suited us. Wolfgang N.юли 2013Very nice little campsite close to Dannenberg. If you are registered at the campsite, you can use the outdoor pool free of charge. Bread roll service worked very well. The somewhat outdated sanitary facilities were always clean. One of the sanitary blocks was being renovated. Nice staff. Place is very... well suited as a starting point for bike tours to the Elbe or the hinterland. But you can also walk along the lake to the city center in 10-15 minutes. - Klaus C. B.май 2012The site is also run by the bathing establishment opposite (staff there are nice and friendly), and so it is (see sandpit photo). The sanitary facilities are sufficiently clean, but nothing more. One lockable wash cubicle and only two shower cubicles (with shower curtains) are likely to lead to bottlenecks... when fully occupied. The toilets would also benefit from renovation. There is a small TV and several books in the common room. Two sinks for dishes and two (?) coin-operated stoves and a washing machine). We were not told about a bread roll service. Supermarkets (Rewe + Edeka) a good kilometer away (ring road to the west). Two inexpensive restaurants in the village. Leisure: Free visit to the swimming pool possible. Good starting point for day trips by bike to Hitzacker, along the Elbe and to Dömitz (also feasible for moderately fit people without an electric drive) and through the hinterland (cultural country tour between Ascension Day and Whitsun).
